3rd POV

Y/N walks into the noodle shop that Rengoku is in.

Rengoku:Umai! Umai!

Demon Slayer:Flame Hashira forgive me for interrupting your meal.

Rengoku:Take this seat here! Mister, Bring this young man some of what I'm having!

The shop owner nods.

Shop Owner:What about your other friend there?

Rengoku:Hm?

Rengoku turns to the doorway.

Rengoku:Ah, Y/N. How are you?

Y/N:I am well. And no thank you sir. I will not be eating.

Slayer:Are you sure it's okay?

Rengoku:Of course! In fact, I'll have another bowl myself.

Owner:You sure eat with gusto, don't you?

Y/N:Yes, he does.

Slayer:Flame Hashira, your work last night was stellar.

Rengoku:No. It was after the demon fled, after all. How's the injured woman doing?

Slayer:According to the doctors, her wounds won't leave any scars.

Rengoku:I see. Good thing she got treated early.

Slayer:It's all thanks to your work.

Y/N:There was a demon attack last night?

Rengoku:Yes, there was. The demon was gone before we got there. But, the woman who was attacked survived..

Y/N:Do we know where the demon could have gone? Does he have a certain pattern or area of attack?

Slayer: For the first question, no. And we don't think he has a pattern but he does attack in or around that village occasionally.

Y/N:I see.

The shop owner serves them their meals.

Slayer:Thank you for the meal.

The shop owner puts a plate of tempura down.

Rengoku:What's this?

Owner:My treat.

Rengoku:Appreciate it!

Slayer:Ah! Delicious! I bet you would really thrive if you set up in Ueno!

Owner:What do you know kid?

Y/N:How's business these days sir?

Owner:What does it look like?

Y/N:I guess that was a dumb question.

Owner:Thanks to all the talk about that Slasher being at large around here, people just stopped coming out at night. I even had to let my workers go. They say that a conductor got killed the other day. On top of that, do you know that the Mugen Train is out of service now? Rumor has it that around 40 of its passengers just disappeared without a trace.

Rengoku:That sounds ominous.

Slayer:Flame Hashira, getting back to why I'm here... we've located the Mugen Train. We've received word that it was secretly transported to a certain train shed.

Rengoku:Is that right?

Rengoku takes a bite of his tempura.

Rengoku:Delicious!

Slayer:Will we be going to the Mugen Train?

Rengoku:Yes, but we must go inspect the station where the body of the conductor was found.
