After a long day of work and attending meetings, August was exhausted. He decided to head to a nearby VIP men's club, a place where he could relax and forget about his troubles for a while.
He ordered his regular drink and allowed himself to get drunk on it, drowning out the thoughts that had been haunting him all day. As he sat at the bar, he couldn't help but notice the beautiful women around him, all vying for his attention.
They were all dolled up, with low-cut tops and short skirts, clearly looking for a good time. As they approached him, Augustus could feel their eyes on him, undressing him with their gazes.
"Hey there, handsome," one of them purred. "Looking for some company tonight?"
Augustus didn't even bother to look at her. He simply gestured to the bartender and slurred out his drink order. But the women were persistent, and they continued to flirt with him, running their hands over his arms and chest.
August wasn't interested in small talk or meaningless flirting. He wanted something more, something that would help him forget about the pain and loneliness that had become all too familiar in his life.
Later on, August found himself in a VIP room, with a girl beside him. Her name was Ashley, one of his lovers.
At first, they were just talking casually, but as time passed by, the two were already kissing.
As he held Ashley in his arms, August couldn't help but feel a sense of emptiness in his heart. He knew that this wasn't real love, that it was just a fleeting moment of pleasure in a life that had become all too monotonous and dull.
But he didn't care. At that moment, all he wanted was to forget about his troubles, to drown out the pain and loneliness that had become all too familiar in his life.
As time passed, the girl was already lying atop the table, but he wasn't in the mood for sex, so he said goodbye to her after an hour or so.
As he made his way home, August saw his wife still awake, waiting for him. It seemed that she had been waiting for him all night, hoping that he would come home and hold her, tell her that he loved her.
But August wasn't in the mood for that.
