Seven months flew by in a heartbeat. Those months were the busiest days for Samantha because she had been busy preparing for her wedding. As the wedding day approached, she couldn't help but weep with joy.

Even though she had already married once, she couldn't help but still feel nervous. It took her a few months to fully accept everything, and she was glad that Bryan patiently waited for her. Because of what she had been through, she doubted her worth over again. She thought all the promises were just empty words, but Bryan proved her wrong.

A sense of accomplishment sprouted in her heart as she thought of her current life. It was all thanks to Bryan. If it weren't for him, perhaps she wouldn't have the chance to be happy again.

When the day for the wedding ceremony finally came, she received the wedding dress.

Upon seeing it, Samantha was dumbfounded. The wedding dress was stunning. She knew it must be expensive. Blue threads were carefully woven through the white fabric. At that moment, she felt like she was looking at a piece of art.

She knew it was beautiful, but she didn't dare imagine the cost. The price couldn't be measured because it was adorned with sparkling diamonds. She tried to talk to Bryan about it, but he said the price was nothing compared to her.

"You look beautiful in that dress," Lily commented.

"Thank you." Samantha smiled.

After all these years, she and Lily had kept in touch. Her friend was finally relieved when she got divorced from Augustus.

"I'm so happy for you. I wish you a blissful marriage." Lily hugged her and smiled. "Let's go. Don't let your groom wait for you."

Samantha nodded, and they both boarded the bridal car and went to the wedding venue. When they arrived at the garden, she was overwhelmed with nervousness.

The music began to flow in pace with Samantha's footsteps, and the appearance of the bride brought the guests standing from their seats.

On the other hand, Bryan stood below a platform at the end of the aisle. He looked dashing in a white suit, the perfect image of a fairy tale groom.

Samantha stared straight at the majestic Bryan as she drew closer to him one step at a time. His eyes gazed deeply into hers.

When she reached the altar, Bryan held her hand and smiled at her. The priest cleared his throat when he saw the two of them staring at each other as though there were only the two of them.

"Mr. Bryan Spencer, do you consider yourself to be legally married to her? Do you pledge to love and honor her throughout your life, in good times and bad, sickness and health?"

"I do," Bryan heartily said.

The priest then turned to Samantha. "Miss Samantha, do you consider Mr. Spencer to be your legally married partner? Do you swear to be loyal to him in good times and bad, in sickness and health, to love and honor him for the rest of your life?"

Samantha returned Bryan's gaze. Her eyes were smiling, and the corners of her lips arched upwards. She was brimming with happiness. "I do."

Amidst the thundering applause from the entire audience, the priest reminded them to exchange rings.

Bryan gently smiled and held her hand. "Back then, I just loved and admired you from a distance. I did not dare confess because I was afraid you would reject me. I was afraid that you wouldn't love me the way I wanted you. I was a coward that couldn't face your rejection. But then, we got separated, and I regret that I didn't confess to you. When we met again, I was delighted. Even if you don't love me the way I love you, it's already enough that you're beside me. I wouldn't dare to ask for more. But when you said that you felt the same way, I was so happy that I could die at any moment. In this life, I will dedicate my whole life to you."

She instantly teared up the moment he finished his words. She sniffled and replied in a trembling voice, "Actually, you're not just my childhood friend but also my first love. I felt blessed that I got the chance to get to know you. Before, I thought that you were out of my reach, and I could only adore you from a distance, yet I didn't expect that you also felt the same way. I was broken, but you still stayed. Thank you for staying with me after all these years. From this day on, I will love you all my life."

After exchanging rings, Bryan looked at Samantha for a long time before leaning over and pressed his lips on hers.
