Months had passed and the day where Samantha would give birth to her baby finally came.
Samantha felt a mix of excitement and fear as the contractions began. She clutched onto Bryan's hand tightly, as if it was her lifeline. "Bry, it's happening," she said in a panicked voice. "I'm scared."
Bryan looked at her with concern, his eyes filled with empathy. "You're going to be okay, Sam. I'm right here with you. Just breathe through the pain," he said, rubbing her hand soothingly.
Samantha tried to relax and focus on her breathing, but the pain was too intense. She let out a cry, and the nurses rushed in to assist her. They quickly wheeled her into the delivery room, with Bryan following closely behind.
As Samantha was prepped for delivery, she couldn't help but think about Augustus. She wondered if he would even care that she was giving birth to their child. She pushed the thought away and focused on the task at hand.
With one final push, Samantha felt the overwhelming relief as her baby was born. She looked at the tiny, wrinkled bundle in her arms and felt a surge of love. Tears streamed down her face as she gazed at her child, feeling grateful for this moment.
Bryan watched on with a smile, his eyes shining with happiness. "Congratulations, Sam. You did it," he said, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder.
Samantha smiled back, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Bryan for being there for her throughout her pregnancy and delivery. "I couldn't have done it without you, Bry," she said, looking at him with teary eyes.
Suddenly, the nurse interrupted their moment by asking Samantha what she would like to name the baby. Samantha looked at Bryan and he gave her a reassuring nod.
"Bry... Brylle Moore," Samantha finally answered.
Bryan felt his heart swell with emotion as he realized that Samantha named her baby after him. Tears streamed down his face as he felt overwhelmed with gratitude and joy.
"Samantha," he choked out, "I don't know what to say. Thank you."
Samantha gave him a small smile, "Thank you, Bry. For everything."
Bryan leaned down to give the little Brylle a gentle kiss on the forehead. Holding her close, he felt an indescribable sense of love and protectiveness.
He knew that from this moment on, he would do everything in his power to keep Samantha and her daughter safe and happy.
