Last night, Yeonjun had not slept very well. He constantly wondered what was going on with his best friend, because never before had he acted so strangely. Even sent him home again in a thunderstorm night. Never before had he refused to spend time with him in such devilish weather. So there had to be something going on inside Beomgyu that he couldn't tell his longtime best friend, Yeonjun thought to himself.

He was really worried about his best friend.

So much so that Yeonjun noticed far too late that there was already a car parked in his usual parking spot at the university. He managed to brake in just in time before his bumper collided with the back of the parked vehicle.

"What the...," Yeonjun brought out, glancing at the car, which was clearly parked in his parking spot without permission.

His parking space!

For more than five semesters now, he had claimed this place for himself and even the freshmen knew about it. Therefore, he could not believe that someone would dare to stand on it just like that.

No one wanted to incur the displeasure of a choi, so who could be so careless?

Of necessity, he parked his yellow Mercedes in the free parking space next to it, turned off the engine and got out of the car. Forgetting for the moment all the worries about his best friend, he took a good look at the black Bugatti. This vehicle clearly belonged to a very rich student, because no one from the middle class could afford such an expensive car.

"Even your surprised face makes you look as stupid as ever, Choi Yeonjun."

The person addressed directed his gaze to the voice beside him, and he hadn't even noticed anyone approaching before while he had been looking at the Bugatti. Next to him was a student of his year, Huang Xiumin, who really no one liked to talk about. It was advisable even for someone like Yeonjun not to deal with this young man. Xiumin was older because he had to repeat the last semester again due to his poor results. And also, it was only because of his parents' wealth that Xiumin had been able to start the year over without having to do the entire study again right away.

Yeonjun would have liked to leave without having to talk to this man whose hair was as black as his soul. Still, there was one thing he really wanted to know, "Is this your car?"

Xiumin shrugged, "Maybe."

But his simple-minded grin left no doubt. Especially since Yeonjun knew that his counterpart was sometimes among the richest in the university.

"Even if he was, what are you going to do about it?" scoffed Xiumin.

"Probably nothing," Yeonjun muttered in response, turning his attention back to his Mercedes and taking out his backpack to sling it over his shoulder. He really didn't want to have anything to do with the elder, so he decided to avoid an argument. Therefore, he marched past Xiumin, not engaging in any provocation, and got the young Chinese man behind him. After all, Yeonjun really had other problems than being annoyed by an occupied parking lot.
