"I don't really care much about what makes women tick," it was the warm voice of Kai that echoed through the Chois' basement. This sound was followed by the hammering of the keys of the controller that the brown-haired man held in his hand. "After all, you never understand them anyway." This had long been Huening Kai's opinion, and he had never really been dissuaded. He had spent his whole life with women in the household and actually one would have thought that he would therefore have a slight idea of the woman's brain.

But that was not the case.

Females were far too complicated for the slightly confused Huening, who scratched his temple to show how perplexed he was.

His best friend Taehyun was sitting on his favorite place: the sofa. As if his name was embroidered there big and wide, it was always this seat that he immediately headed for. "You live the life of a person who doesn't have relationships," he commented on Kai's statement, taking another bite of the juicy red apple and raising his eyebrows in a wait-and-see manner.

"Exactly!", however, the addressed only laughed. "Because I don't understand them!"

Soobin, who had just made himself comfortable on the carpeted floor with a beer, was heard chuckling briefly. With a 'plop' he opened the bottle, but looked at the sticker for a few more seconds.

"Besides, you all don't carry one," Kai was still grumbling, shrugging his shoulders and still not taking his eyes off the screen.

Taehyun and Soobin were relatively quick to agree on that, exchanging a glance before it slid to the oldest in the group, who was hanging out in the big boss chair. "Except for Yeonjun, though he always claims it's not a relationship," Soobin then remarked, a slight smirk gracing his lips and immediately he got to feel Yeonjun's annoyed expression.

Yeonjun rolled his eyes at the topic as he replied, "It's not one either."

For months now, his friends had been teasing him that something might develop between Sharon and him after all, which would be serious for once.

But Yeonjun had always skillfully ignored this.

"You see," Soobin grinned, because he knew what answer would come from Yeonjun.

Namely, always the same: It was denied.

Kai glanced briefly at Yeonjun, then refocused on what was happening in the video game. "There's a difference between having sex and being in a relationship," he defended him, and immediately heard the amused laugh of his best friend.

Elegantly, Taehyun held the nearly eaten apple in his hand, his elbow leaning on the back of the couch. "Oh, the expert knows that?" he teased, guessing that he could tease Kai well with that. After all, they already knew each other so well that it was no wonder Taehyun got an evil glare.

"Better than you all!"

Choi Beomgyu, who had just been watching the whole thing in silence, rolled his eyes in annoyance. The subject of Sharon kept coming up and he couldn't hear it anymore, it was hanging out by his ears and he would have loved to say so.
