The light wind brushed the young Huening's hair out of his face. It was already dark and the stars were shining very brightly today, as an exception, and the clouds in the afternoon had disappeared.
Or was it just the reflection of the city of Seoul?
Kai had often wondered that.
Had wondered if he would ever see real stars or even a shooting star. For that, he just needed incredible luck. The water of the Han River rushed continuously and even light chirping of crickets could be heard. The student loved the way the night sounded. Even though he was not often out alone. His chauffeur had let him out in front of the 'Once In A Blue Moon' bar half an hour ago, and then jetted off again when Kai told him he would call if he needed him.
He was way too early.
Maybe because of the excitement, yet he didn't seem as nervous as he actually felt. Yet so many thoughts were running through his head. So many scenarios he imagined how the evening between Ethan and him could go. He really wanted to make an impression on the boy, to befriend him, since he really thought a lot of him. That was why he had complied with his mother's order as far as his outfit was concerned. Now he was just worried about how the evening would go.
But it meant waiting.
Waiting for Ethan to show up, which turned out not to be very long, because after only fifteen minutes he saw the student coming towards him. He was walking and Kai secretly wondered if he had a long way from his home to the bar.
Why hadn't he come by car?
Kai was so nervous that his own questions bombarded him, but when he saw Ethan approaching, a fond smile crept onto his thin lips and he couldn't help but wave at the student. Lee Heeseung's outfit, however, was quite surprising to the brown-haired man. Because until now he had not often seen him in his casual clothes, thereby he could not have imagined what Ethan would otherwise wear instead of the uniform. Because no uniform in the world could be as chic as this outfit. The beige jacket that reached almost to his knees gave the perfect flair to his black hair, which he wore hidden under a white cap. The creamy white hoodie underneath shone in the darkness and looked incredibly comfortable and cozy. In general, the bright colors looked very comfortable on him and matched his cheerful character.
Ethan shone brighter than the sun at night.
If he would also smile at the same time, Kai could very well do without this fixed star.
He didn't know what he was expecting either, because it was hard to imagine Ethan in everyday clothes, and he didn't even remember what the boy had worn to the party. But this outfit was stunning! It even looked quite affluent, which made it impossible to even assume that he had a lower social status at the university. But the creamy, beige and white colors of his clothes radiated a wealthy expression.
I wonder if he had also thought about it as much as Kai had?
Had he also spent minutes standing in front of his closet wondering what he should wear to express them?
