Extra: Yoana is the second child of Tonowari and Ronal, the Tsahik and olo'eyktan, and the sister of Aonung and Tsireya. She is also being trained by her mother to be the next Tsahik, but when she doesn't help her mother, she teaches children how to ride Ilu and helps hunt with the other hunters. She also dances with the ocean and waves mostly by herself and goes for a swim or rides with her Ilu, sometimes outside the reef despite it being forbidden. After the Sully's came to their home, she was very surprised that the forest people even existed and thought it was only just stories. After her father welcomed them, she and her sister Tsireya showed them their home and her brother helped in teaching them their ways. She's very fluent in their sign language and she also knows very little English but she knows the basics. Yoana is also very close with Kiri and Tuktirey and shows them how to dance with the ocean, Yoana also understands what it is like to be looked at differently but because she is the clan leader's oldest daughter, no one says anything but she hears everyone call her crazy or weird. But she ignores it and continues doing what she does.
