Taking a break and wiping the tears away with her sleeve, she felt so emotionally exhausted at this point. She didn't know what was worse...finding out that Toga was still alive...or that the people she trusted had lied to her all this time.

Tightening her hold on her backpack she continued walking. Squinting her eyes to try and see her way through the heavy rain, she slipped suddenly falling down a small slope.

"Ow!" Landing she forced herself to stand. Wincing at the shooting pain on her ankle, she tried to put some of her weight on it and failing. "Great Ochaco that's what you get for going off alone right?"

Supporting herself on a nearby tree she tried taking a few steps at a time, gritting her teeth from the pain. Hearing a loud roar coming from behind she quickly peeked over her shoulder. "What now?"

Looking back, she saw a giant bear standing on its hind legs calmly staring at her.

"Oh man just my luck." Feeling herself tremble she tried to remain as calm as possible while watching the bear pound its paws on the ground huffing. "Ok...no need to panic. I'm not going to hurt you and you're not going to hurt me, right?" she weakly smiled.

Staring at the giant bear she tilted her head to the side; she could've sworn she saw the bear smirking at her. "Wait what?"

Suddenly the bear started to pound on his front paws again before letting out another roar.

"Oh crap!" limping and hopping away as fast as she could as the bear ran towards her, she tried to work through the pain covering her head. "EEK!"

BOOM!

Lifting her head at the familiar sound her eyes momentarily widened stunned at the fact that he was standing there. "Bakugo? What are you-"

"OI YOU UGLY PIECE OF SHIT! OVER HERE!" he yelled, aiming small explosions to catch the bears attention and quickly dodging an attack. "A BEAR REALLY?! OF ALL THE DAMN THINGS YOU HAD TO ATTRACT A FUCKIN BEAR DIDN'T YOU!" He snarled while launching himself side to side.

"Not like a planned it."

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU EVEN DOING?! STOP, DROP AND ROLL DAMNIT!"

"That's for a fire Bakugo!" she said rolling her eyes.

"THE FUCK YOU DO TO PISS IT OFF?!"

"Nothing! I just talked to it...." She sheepishly rubbed the back of her head.

"The hell?!" Gritting his teeth, he saw the bear quickly charging back towards her. "Shit!" Blasting himself in between them he quickly lifted his palms letting off a few more explosions watching it roar and swing at him.

"Look out!" She yelled just as the bear swiped its claws across his abdomen.

"Shit!" Grunting, he jumped back shooting off a few more explosions towards its face briefly knocking it down before it got up growling and running off.

"YEAH, YOUR BETTER RUN!" Stomping his foot, he swiftly turned around with an infuriated look on his face as he marched towards her. "What the fuck round-face I leave you alone for a few minutes and you're socializing with a fuckin bear?!"

"Well, when you say it like that..." she sees him extending his hand trying to help her up as she pushes his hand away.

Looking away he glances up at the dark clouds. "Whatever. Lucky my explosions were able to scare it off since this rain fucks with my quirk."

"I know..." she mumbles.

"Anyways we should head back."

"You head back. I'm leaving." Turning her back she starts limping away.
