Chapter 70

AN: Well, everyone here we are, as promised here is the last chapter!!! I can't believe we're here already ☹ I just wanted to say thank you to all those who took the time to read this, left comments and left kudos. You guys are awesome! I had originally started this for myself to get out some ideas I've had for a while and was surprised to see how many people actually enjoyed it. I also tried to make sure to be consistent on uploading every week since I didn't want to leave you guys hanging. So hopefully I was able to deliver.

Sitting on her bed staring out the window she tried everything she could to stop the aching pain in her chest.

Once the last bell had rung that day everyone quickly jumped to their feet immediately engulfing the three who would be leaving while some of the others went on ahead to prepare for the farewell party they had planned. She had quietly pulled on her pink backpack hastily making her way out the door with Mina and Tsu hoping no one had noticed but that feeling was quickly demolished when she felt someone's eye following her out.

She already knew who it was but did her best to continue on her way.

"Babe you in there?"

Hearing the gentle knock on the door, Uraraka heard her friend slowly open her door to peek her head inside.

"Hey Mina."

"Whatcha doing in here?" she asked sitting down next to her. "Why aren't you downstairs with everyone else?"

"Oh, just enjoying the quiet for a moment you know." Uraraka said giving her a small smile but already could tell from the look on Minas face that she knew it was forced.

Pressing her lips together Mina placed her hand on top of hers. "Ochaco...you know they're leaving any minute."

"I know."

"Yeah? And do you also know that you can't keep avoiding this." she said quietly. "I know how hard this must be, but you don't want to regret not seeing them off right?"

Turning her attention back to her friend, Uraraka took a shaky breath in. "I know, I was actually planning on coming down. I just needed a moment to...you know..."

Smiling Mina helped her up. "Yeah, girl I know. You already decide what you wanted to do?"

"I have..." She gave a small smile following Mina down the stairs already having heard all the loud commotion in the common area. She could see all of her classmates there, including All Might and Mr. Aizawa talking.

Deku was sitting on the couch talking with Tsu and Iida while some of the others were spread around eating, Jirou was playing some music in the background, and she couldn't help but smile after seeing Bakugo hop around trying to wiggle a crying Mineta off his leg.

"I can't believe you guys are leaving!" Mineta cried out clinging on.

"ALRIGHT! GET OFF ME ALREADY GRAPE FACE!"

Giggling she made her way to sit next to Deku but was stopped when Todoroki approached her. "Hey Todoroki! You excited about leaving?"

Nodding he looked back towards the others. "I guess you could say that. But there's something I wanted to talk to you about."

"Oh?" Tilting her head, she waited for him to continue. "What about?"

"Well, I haven't had the chance to thank you yet." Watching her look confused he quickly added. "For the Christmas present."
