After the titles, we see a large skyscraper in London burning in flames. Black smoke pours out from the top, and a fire burns as debris collapses down onto the ground. The camera gives an angle shot looking up at the top of the tower as it begins to crumble. The emergency services are in action as they attempt to rescue a man hanging on the edge of the building, clinging to it by a thread outside of a window. The metal begins to crack as he desperately clings on. Fire tenders, ambulances, and police cars cordon off the site. A helicopter flies overhead above the building to view the trapped man. Crowds gather to watch the site as the rescue is put into operation. The trapped man's grip is loosening, and his breath is beginning to be engulfed by the smoke. He panics, and cries for help for below him lies a deep, deep drown down to his fate.

Anthony:

D'ah! D'ah! Somebody! Please! Help!

Reporters are on the scene showcasing the action. A BBC reporter addresses the camera as crowds watch from afar.

BBC Reporter:

Infra-red detectors on the rescue helicopter reports that no other signs of life were present inside the building. However, one survivor at the moment is left clinging to the edge of the building. The rescue helicopter is going in to try and grab the man but it will prove to be no easy task.

Behind the crowd, we see the 12th Doctor and Clara rush past at the back. They carry large backpacks over their shoulders as they sprint through a street.

Clara:

You think this is gonna work?

Twelfth Doctor:

It will be very dangerous for us to be both here and at the top of that tower.

The helicopter ascends closer to the burning tower, careful not to be engulfed by the smoke, nor to hit any of the wreckage.

We may have a time machine, Clara, but we have to time it to a split second to our arrival.

Anthony's grip weakens as he panics. The helicopter can't get any closer without being in the way of the fire and smoke.

BBC Presenter:

Crowds watch with anticipation for the team to successfully bring the trapped man to safety from a shielded distance. The emergency services have reported that they cannot approach much further without themselves becoming a liability for the people's safety by hovering over the inferno.

The Doctor and Clara arrive at a back ally to where the TARDIS is situated. The doors are unlocked, and we see the Doctor and Clara dash in. The camera follows them inside to the TARDIS. The Doctor begins to operate the TARDIS, but Clara first takes off her bag and then joins the Doctor at the console.

Twelfth Doctor:

Adjust gravity settings of interior threshold.

The TARDIS begins to leave its destination. The metal to where Anthony clings onto continues to bend. If it were to bend over completely, the man will fall to his death. One of his hands slip!

Anthony:

DAH! HELP ME! PLEASE!

BOOM! BANG! An explosion booms at the top of the building. The wreckage explodes and the helicopter narrowly dodges it.

BBC Presenter:

The team are planning a second approach. Please be aware that some viewers may find the nature of the emerg-

BANG! BOOM! Another explosion erupts. The top of the tower is about to collapse! The crowd gasp in horror.

It's going. It's collapsing.
