Down in the restaurant, me and MK stood by this man, who was claiming to be the mayor.

I'm not even sure the city even has a mayor. Plus that creepy smile of his is unsettling.

"Thank you for this amazing turnout." The so-called "mayor" said.

"Woo-hoo! Let's hear it for Monkie Kid and Shadow Girl! Heroes of the city." Mei clapped and cheered.

"As mayor, I hereby give Monkie Kid and Shadow Girl the key to our fair city." The mayor handed MK a key, which looked like a skeleton.

"Um, uh, what does this key do, exactly?" I eyed the mayor suspiciously.

"Oh, you'll love this. It has the power to open anything!" The mayor replied.

Before I could say anything, Mei spoke up. "Ooh, anything? Like a pet shop full of puppies?" Mei asked with a gleam in her eyes.

"Yes. Or the door to a lion's cage, or an orphan's piggy bank, an imprisoned mystic power source. Whatever you like! Today, you can do no wrong. You've got my permission. 'Cause I'm the mayor!" The mayor said as his grin grew bigger, and left.

"Yeah, that's definitely not the mayor."

"Wow. A key that can open anything." MK and Mei looked at the key in awe.

"Guys, just because the key can open anything, doesn't mean- and they're already gone." I watched the two zip out the door.

"I should go with them to make sure they don't do anything stupid."

I ran out the door, following my brother and friend.

The first shenanigan we got into was the anti-gravity arcade.

We were playing games, button-mashing on monkey mech when we lost.

MK used the key to start the game up again, and this time we won, winning lots of tickets.

"Yes!"

The next thing we did, was unlock a truck-load of puppies, which also had a tiger in it by the way.

P.S, that tiger ain't walking for a week.

We also stopped by a shoe store, getting us some new pairs of shoes.

The next thing we did was party, then made our way to the weather station having the time of our lives.

We went racing in our vehicles, and it was quite obvious who won.

We used the key for many things, like cheating at a crane game anytime we lost, getting ice cream and popsicles, bowling, and getting our pictures taken.

"Mei, Y/n. Okay, hear me out!" MK shook me and Mei.

"We knew the key could magically unlock anything, but maybe, it can also magically lock anything too!" He held the key in front of us.

"You've literally just described all keys." Mei eyes the key in his hand.

"Sure, yeah, fine. But do you know what this means?"

"Having this key, this power, it's so much responsibility. But I know what we need to do." MK held the key up.

"I know I should stop you guys from using the key irresponsibly, but of you're gonna do what I think you're gonna do MK, let's do it!" I gave my brother a determined look.

Right now, all three of us stood on our balcony, watching Pigsy struggling to open the restaurant.

After many failed attempts and a broken back, Pigsy tried the back door, which was also locked.
