Y/n's P.O.V
2 weeks had passed, maybe more, since I'd been staying with Mrs. Carmichael.

My phone has been blowing up with messages and phone calls ever since, and I've been ignoring all of them.

Right now, me and my shadow clones were helping Mrs. Carmichael clean her kitchen.

"Alright ladies, time to clean! You, wash the dishes." I pointed to a clone.

"You, dry the washed dishes." I pointed to another.

"And you put the dry dishes up." I ordered the last clone.

I rolled up my sleeves. "I'll get the floor and table."

With that said, me and the clones got cleaning, scrubbing the dishes, floors, and tables.

"Oh!" Mrs. Carmichael came in.

"Hey, Mrs. Carmichael!" I wiped the sweat off my forehead.

Mrs. Carmichael look around the kitchen, watching me and my clones clean. "If I knew you could do this, I would've asked you to help me clean the kitchen ages ago."

"All you had to do was ask and--" I was trying to say, but the sound of my ringtone cut me off.

Pulling my phone out of my pocket, I took a look at the caller ID, and pressed decline, shoving my phone back in my pocket.

"You should answer dear, they're all worried about you, you've been gone for over 2 weeks." Mrs. Carmichael spoke.

I sighed. "I know, it's just that I'm afraid to go back after what happened."

Mrs. Carmichael gave me a sad smile. "It's ok to be afraid, they'll understand, plus, if they don't, I'll just chop them up with my butcher knife."

"Hah, that won't be necessary, but thank you." I laughed.

The sweet old woman gave me a soft smile. "Your welcome dear."

After me and my clones finished cleaning, I sat on the couch, reading a book I found on the shelf.

It was called "The Dog, Ray" by Linda Coggin.

It was about a girl named Daisy who died in a car accident, and she ends up in the body of a dog.

I just started reading it, and so far it was good.

"Oh, I love that book." Mrs. Carmichael sat beside me.

"That's cool." I looked at her.

"The fact that she was reborn in the body of a dog, makes me wonder what I'll be when it's my time." The old lady sighed.

"Don't say that, you still have plenty of time." I held her hand.

"Who knows? But I do hope I get reborn as a Budgie bird." She said.

"Why a Budgie?" I asked her.

Puck landed on Mrs. Carmichael's hand. "Well, Puck's a green Budgie, and they're my favorite."

I watched Mrs. Carmichael pet Puck, thinking.

She isn't leaving anytime soon.

Whatever happens, I'll make sure she's ok.

It was almost 8:00 pm and the sun was just starting to set.

I still sat on the couch, reading the book from earlier.

*Crash*

I jumped up, and ran to the kitchen, seeing Mrs. Carmichael clutching her chest, and breathing heavily.
