"Cali!" Lori hissed not wanting both of her kids to be in danger.
"Shit." Shane cursed watching the love of his life run into potential danger.
The group of adults were all quick to follow after the teenager.
"Cali!"
"Carl!" Cali yelled seeing her brother and Sophia come racing towards her. She wrapped both arms around the kids pulling them safely into her side.
"Baby!" Lori rushed out falling to her knees in front of Cali and Carl. "Are you hurt?"
Carl shook his head, wrapping his arms tighter around his sister's waist.
"You're okay?" Rick asked as him and some of the other group members arrived at the scene.
Lori nodded standing up and grabbing onto Carl's arm. "I've got him."
"Nothing bit you?" Cali asked now being the one to bend down to Carl's level seeing as her mother had pulled the boy out of her arms. "Nothing scratched you?"
"No, I'm okay." Carl replied moving out of Lori's grip and wrapping his arms around his sister's neck. Cali sighed in relief. She picked Carl up sitting him on her hip as the men in the group began killing the walker that had scared the kids.
"Don't look." Cali whispered to Carl who listened by hiding his face in the crook of her neck.
"It's the first one we've had up here." Dale spoke up after the men had finally finished beating the walker to a pulp for no reason.
Cali really didn't understand why one of them didn't immediately put the walker down. She guessed that they may have just wanted to show off for the group watching.
"They never come this far up the mountain." Glenn said agreeing with the older man.
"Well, they're running out of food in the city, that's what." Jim sighed wiping sweat from his forehead.
Amy let's out a loud gasp from behind Cali when the group began to hear footsteps approaching them. The whole group was on edge as they waited for whatever it was to show itself.
Shane had his knife ready to protect the group, mainly Cali from whatever.
Said girl was too busy looking at the decapitated walker head on the ground that had still not been properly killed. She grimaced at the way it was snapping its teeth at Shane's feet.
