"Where are you going dressed like that?" Lori exclaimed causing the three males at the kitchen table to turn their attention to the young brunette.
Shane's jaw dropped when he finally caught sight of her. He thought she looked stunning in her flowered dress. He was thankful that he didn't turn down Lori's invitation to stay for dinner.
"I'm going on a date." Cali said simply not sparing her mother a glance.
"With who?" questioned Rick.
"Um his name is Jason."
"Is that the boy that you went to the prom with?" Cali nodded as Shane clenched his jaw. He didn't like the idea of her going out with someone.
"Oh well it's a shame you'll have to cancel on him." Lori said filling Carl's plate.
"Daddy can I please go? I already told him I would and I'm all dressed up." Cali begged. Shane couldn't stop himself from imagining her calling him that in an entirely different way. He could feel himself getting aroused.
"I don't see the problem with it Lor. He seems like a nice kid." Rick shrugged.
Lori sighed knowing she wasn't going to get her way. "Fine. But you better be home before 11."
Cali squealed and rushed over to her father kissing his cheek. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"
Rick laughed while Lori rolled her eyes. At times she was extremely jealous of the relationship her husband had with their daughter.
There was a loud honk from outside that gained the Grimes' family's plus Shane's attention.
"That's him! I'll see you guys later." Cali yelled rushing out of the kitchen to get to the door before her parents. She did not need them embarrassing her in front of Jason.
Jason was about to knock as the door swung open revealing the girl of his dreams. Jason couldn't believe how hot Cali looked. He was basically drooling staring at her.
"Ready to go?" Cali asked grabbing Jason's arm and dragging him towards his car.
As they were getting in Lori popped her head out of the front door yelling "Be home by 11!"
Cali rolled her eyes settling into the car. Jason glanced at her nervously.
"Shouldn't I have gone in and introduced myself to your parents?" He asked starting the car.
