When Cali had returned to the quarry with her laundry she could still see her mom and Shane talking or from her point of view arguing. She would definitely be questioning Shane about what the two were speaking about later.

But for now she put a smile on her face as she sat down next to Amy and began to wash her clothes.

"How was catching frogs?" Amy questioned the girl trying to get rid of the awkward tension that had settled over the group of women. Cali had no idea what had previously happened with Ed but she could tell that they were on edge about something.

"It was a waste of time." She replied with a shrug. "I think Shane only wanted to do it to make Carl feel better."

"Well that was awfully nice of him." Jacqui smiled at the girl.

"Is everything alright with you guys?" The teen asked looking at the group of women. "You all just seem a little tense."

"We're fine." Amy said reassuringly. "We just had a little argument with Ed, that's all."

"Shocking." Cali rolled her eyes. "Let me guess, you guys weren't washing the clothes good enough for him?"

Jacqui laughed nodding at the girl as Amy shook her head.

"He might hear you." The blonde whispered gesturing in Ed's direction where he was sitting on a chair smoking a cigarette.

"Let him hear." Cali scoffed. "The guys a dick. No offense Carol."

The short haired woman sighed keeping her head down as she continued to quietly do the laundry. Cali felt bad for Carol and Sophia. Everyone around camp knew how Ed was but Carol refused to leave him so what could they do to help her?

Andrea who had been staring right back at Ed the whole time since their interaction had finally had enough of him supervising them.

"Ed, tell you what... you don't like how your laundry is done, you are welcome to pitch in and do it yourself." She said loudly picking up a soaking wet shirt and tossing it at him.

Amy, Carol, and Jacqui all gasped at the older blonde's actions while Cali silently smirked. She couldn't wait to see someone put Ed in his place, even if she despised Andrea she was still rooting for her in this battle.

Ed angrily stood himself up from the chair and stomped down to where the women were sitting. He had the wet shirt in his hand before deciding to throw it right back at Andrea. "Ain't my job, missy."

"Andrea, don't." Carol cried as she tried to grab Andrea and prevent her from getting closer to Ed. She knew it was not a good idea to piss the man off.
