"Oh mais je ne peux m'empêcher de tomber amoureux de toi~ (Oh but I can't help falling in love with you~)"

The family laughed as they all sung the last few lyrics to Elvis Presley in French. The families favourite song. They laughed at each other as they realised they all sung off key completely. The car erupted in laughter once again.

"S'il te plait, rejoue-le maman! (please play it again mom!)" The young girl begged her mother from the back seat. The older boy -around 18 years old- groaned.

"Non maman s'il te plait joue Crazy Train par Ozzy Osbourne! (No mom please play Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne)" He begged his mom, he truly loved his younger sister but he couldn't listen to that song again after singing it for forty minutes straight and they had another two hours until they reached their destination he truly couldn't bare hearing it again.

"S'il te plait maman ! (Please mom!)" Both begged at the same time, the same desperation laced in their voices.

Their Mother laughed at them. The sweet melody that came out of the younger womans mouth distracted the man that was behind the wheel. He turned his head and look at the beauty that sat next to him and then turned his head slightly further and looked at his two beautiful children that sat in the back seat pouting as their Mother denied to play either song instead playing one of her choices. 'Burning Love' by Elvis Presley, it was noticed that their daughter was much more like her Mother in many aspects, from her music taste to the burning red head of hair that gracefully lay on both of their heads. He had never been so happy in his life-

"PÈRE REGARDEZ! (FATHER LOOK OUT!!)"

She gasped lightly.

Her bright ginger hair could be spotted for miles, it seemed. No, it was not a copper or a carrot ginger, it was a beautiful bright ginger that would remind one of Autumn and the stunning orange leaves that decorated the forest floors during this time. It shone when the sunlight would hit it, making it even more beautiful. Every strand of hair seemed like it was so delicately placed, every strand seemed to have its own unique shade as it was brushed together with every small movement of her head, her fluffy hair perfectly shaped the young girls face, complimenting her youthful features.

Her skin seemed to glow slightly even in the dull weather that surrounded them. Her skin decorated in light and dark brown freckles from the tip of her nose to the tip of her toes, she was decorated in them, the freckles made her small button nose more noticeable as well as her stunning emerald eyes. Her emerald eyes that glistened like the actual jewel. Her emerald eyes that shook people to the core with happiness when they were around the girl. Her emerald eyes that almost seemed to hypnotise a person as she stared back at them.

Amélie layed her head gently on the cool glass of her Uncles cruiser car. The cool glass easing her pounding head ever so slightly. Her emerald eyes glancing around at the scenery that surrounded them, the great green pine trees that seemed to grow up to immeasurable heights, the dark brown dirt that covered the forest floor bar the road as that was covered in grey pavement that seemed to run for miles, no colourful leaves seemed to decorated the forest floor which made the redhead frown slightly which didn't suit her beautiful face at all.

"Amélie"

She gently lifted her head from the cool car window and turned to her Uncle, who managed to grab the young girls attention. Her Uncle, a fairly broad and tall man, he had kind eyes, a large pointed nose, his age beginning to be seen from the following wrinkles that were beginning to form as well as the black bags that began to form under his eyes. He was her Maman's brother, both born in Italy but he moved to America for work when he met his ex-wife Renee and they had a child together, Isabella, it was Charlie's choice as Renee refused to have her born in Italy so he named her an Italian name, something to bring him comfort when he missed home. He had a very intimidating aura that surrounded him although a feeling of safety and calmness can be felt around the large man as well.

Amélie turned her head slowly as if she expected the male driver to be mad at her, only to be met with concerned eyes. The older man gently grabbed the young girls small hand in his giant one.

"Stai bene? (Are you okay?)" Her Uncle asked in his preferred language.

A small tear slipped down her pale cheek. She squeezed her Uncles hand.

"Mi mancano zio Charlie (I miss them uncle Charlie)" She whispered softly to him. He sighed and squeezed her hand back, in reassurance.

"Lo so tesoro mio, lo so (I know my darling, I know)" He spoke gently as to not startle her more, he knew she was uncomfortable in the car because of the accident all he could hope to do was ease the pain, ever so slightly and little by little, even if it took years, he would stick by his niece, through thick and thin, just like his sister used to do for him.

The rest of the journey was in comfortable silence. Charlie still held his neices hand as he drove afraid he would take it away and she would break down. He thought about how alone she must feel in this moment and how much pain she must be going through, he couldn't imagine it. She was a beautiful soul, an innocent one, and God had taken so much from her, all too soon and far too quickly and he promised to never let anything harm her again.

Finally the little white house came into view. Amélie smiled at the little house she used to visit when she was a young one. It was exactly the same. Once the crusier was parked Charlie was quick to exit the car, run around the car to Amélie's side of the car and open the door for her. Amélie small smile widened at her Uncle and his manners. Charlie help Amélie down from the crusier as she was so short, but instead of letting her go right away he pulled her into a large bear hug that Amélie seemed to melt into. Her small arms wrapped around her Uncles torso as she squeezed him to give him comfort as she knew he was mourning his sisters death.

A few tears were shed.

It was a little while later until Charlie released his niece from his embrace. He wiped her tears from her face with his large thumbs and she did the same but with her cardigan sleeves instead. She placed a kiss on both of his cheeks, just like she used to do when she was younger with everyone in greeting.
