It was a warm day, the sun glaring down upon the citizens of the small town. While some cursed at the sun and its blaring rays others couldnt be happier at the sun's bright and playful nature. It was a blessing for some, a curse for others.

Giggles and chuckles could be heard echoing throughout the small field.

Two siblings laughed as they ran through the tall grass of the field that belonged to no one. The long grass tickled and poked the two as they ran, only fueling their reason for laughter. Although their laughter and stamina could only last so long as they fell into the grass, a soft padded landing. The larger of the two fell first, his blonde hair shone in the light while his ablaze brown eyes shone and his smile was bright and wide as he stared at his younger sister in awe, that was until she decided to fall right on top of her older brother, who let out an 'oof'at the impact.

"Ella! Really?" The blonde asked as the wind was knocked out of him.

The little girl could only giggle, her matching blonde hair flew around her like a halo of an angel and her warm chocolate eyes shone while her wide smile and matching dimple could only make her older brother smile with her. "Sorry, brother!"

"Just be careful -"

"Help! Help please!" A voice called out.

The older of the two stood to his feet quickly. Looking around for the voice that called out. It was then he saw the woman rushing towards him with her dress pulled up from the floor so she could run faster. Her curly red hair bounced with every step she took and her eyes, almost like gold, were covered with unshed tears. She soon made it to the siblings sides. She grasped onto the brothers arm with a fierce grip and began pulling him towards the direction she just came.

"Please, oh, please help me! My father has fallen from the carriage and he isn't waking up! Please!" The woman begged.

The older brother nodded towards the enchanting woman but before he went with her he turned to his younger sister, placing a gentle hand to her hair as if telling her not to panic.

"Ella, go call for the town doctor, he will help, but you must hurry, ok?" He asked his younger sister. Ella nodded and with determination she began the run back to the town, as if he brother had given her a mission that she must complete.

It was then that the older brother turned to the woman once more and yet he did not see the same innocent soul as he saw moment ago. Instead he saw what could only be described as the devil. Her eyes that were once golden and laced with softness instead were a dark and rich red that sent tremors through the boy. Her small frown was no longer on her face, instead it was a threatening bare of her teeth, teeth that were pointed.

He gulped.

"W-what are you?"

The woman could only chuckle darkly as she inched closer to him. "You will find out soon enough dearest~"

And with that the woman finally pounced, her body flying forward and pinning the boy to the ground, her pointed teeth soon sunk into the boys neck. A terrible cry of agony escaped the boys mouth and yet it only seemed to get louder and louder with every minute that passed. Yet the boy could only get one thing - that wasn't a scream - out of his mouth.
