"I have never been more disappointed in you Isabella Swan."
Bella merely stomped her foot like a child, letting out merely a fraction of the anger she was feeling in that moment. Her fists were clenched, preparing to hit or punch something- or someone - if her anger grew. Her teeth were bared like an animal that was prepared for the kill. Her face was a flush red and she seemed to be turning a different shade of red every minute that passed.
Bella couldn't hold it in any longer.
"I would never have been the disappointment if she was never here!" Bella pointed to Amélie who was still curled up in her lovers arm in the corner of the kitchen. "If Amélie was never here I wouldn't have been a disappointment! I would have had all the friends! I would have had the best boyfriend! I would have had all the love! I would have had everything I had ever wanted! But no! Instead she took it from me, all of it and I now have nothing! If her parents hadn't been such French idiots and crashed that night I would have had everything!"
The room was silent. The only thing that could be heard was Bellas' loud laboured breaths from her long and hurtful explosion of emotions and thoughts. The group stood still, almost like statues. They couldn't believe the words that came out of Bellas mouth. The pure vile words that escaped her lips. Everyone was disgusted. It wasn't long before Amélie's soft sobs began to mix with Bella's loud breaths.
It was Amélie's sobs that broke them out of the intense haze everyone seemed to be captured in. Benedict instinctively wrapped his arms tighter around his beloved, whispering sweet words of love and sorrow for what her cousin had said. He held a fierce glare towards Bella as he comforted his love, a glare that made her flinch and turn away. Charlie was no better. A single tear left his eye and sliding down his right cheek and yet through his sorrow all he could feel was the anger of his daughters words. His fists clenched and unclenched, trying hard to resist not punching something. He looked down at Bella, with complete and utter disgust as well as anger.
"I-i I didn't m-mean - " Bella stuttered under the heated glares of the two men.
"How dare you.." Charlie stated, anger burning after every word that he spoke. "How dare you say such disgusting words. The deaths of your Uncle and Aunt as well as your cousin hurt everyone! They were dear to everyone! But most importantly they were dear to your cousin who lost her entire family in one night. She lost everything. You have absolutely no right to say anything like that."
"B-but I-" Bella started.
"There are no 'buts'! You still have your mother and father! You still live in the country you were born in! You still speak the language you grew up with! You have all of these things, you were never left with nothing! You had everything! How dare you be so forgetful of that! Amélie lost everything! And she has now found a safe place, her safe place where she is surrounded by people who love her. She lost everything and thankfully found a place - here - where she can grieve with the people who love her dearly. Clearly you are not one of them."
Bella's eyes flooded with tears. "N-no I just -"
"Go be with Edward."
"W-what?" Bella stuttered out in shock.
"Go to Edward," Charlie stated firmly. "I don't think I can handle you being in the house for the rest of the day, I don't think I can stand looking at you after those words."
Bella merely nodded and hung her head, making her way out of the house to Edward who was still parked and waiting for Bella outside in the driveway. Charlie followed Bella outside, making sure they had fully driven away, and out of sight. He then closed the door and slowly made his way back to the kitchen, only to be engulfed in a gigantic hug.
