The entire room all turned towards the door, greeted by a out of breath Bella. She heaved as she placed her hands on her knees and bent over to catch her breath, her hair was messy and poked up in random directions and her eyes seemed to have a look that could only be described as one tgat belongs to a maniac. It was clear she was not physically active what so ever and it took a toll on her journey here, clearing trying to catch up to her father and and the handsome Cullen doctor.

"Isabella -" Carlisle started.

"Bella." She snapped at him, much like she did with everyone else who said her name wrong although it was the shortened version of her name.

"Bella," Carlisle corrected with a forced smile on his face, not liking the attitude that belonged to the young Swan girl. "It is true that you took quite a spill be we already did your check-up and it was clear that you have no injuries besides a small concussion. I am now assessing your cousin whom was also in that accident and took most of the consequences -"

"I got my concussion because of her!" Bella pointed to the ginger who laid in her lovers arms in the hospital bed, still not completely comfortable in the situation as well as the locations she resided in. Amélie looked up at Bella with wide eyes. "She pushed me to the ground! -"

"To save your life!" Benedict almost shouted. Disgusted at the fact that Bella was trying to turn the entire situation onto his beloved as well as blame her for a mild yet non-existent concussion that she recieved because Amélie risked her own life for lowlife like Bella. Benedictwas absolutely furious. "You have no right to blame her for anything! Especially when you decided to lay your filthy hands on Amélie!"

Bella's eyes widened, as if she remembered the exact moment Benedict was talking about. "I-i-"

"Bella, what is Benedict talking about?" Charlie asked sternly, his anger rising up his throat as he stared at his daughter waiting for an answer.

"Well i-i just -" Bella stuttered, unable to form a cohesive sentence as all the eyes in the room boar into her, waiting for an answer as well as waiting for her to speak the truth. And yet it was all too much. The attention being too much.

"Bella..." Charlie trailed off, his tone getting more and more infuriated by the second as he waited for Bellas pathetic excuse of an answer to an extremely important question. Bellas mouth opened and closed like a fish, not being able to for a sentence as the words were no where to be seen.

"Chief.." Carlisle called for Charlie who was quick to whip his head around to Carlisle to see what had caught the doctors attention. It was now Carlisle turn to be furious. In his open palms laid Amélie's bruised wrist. Her wrist was wrapped in a bracelet of blue and purple bruises, something that could only have been caused by a tight grip as well as much struggling. Carlisle's head whipped back towards Bella, a murderous glare flaring in his eyes, almost like a wild beast craving for the kill, absolutely seething at what Bella had done to his daughter-in-law. It was clear that Carlisle was a calm man who was firm when needed but ultimately always had a smile on his face but no one had ever seen the look he was giving the Chief's daughter, no one had ever seen that dangerous glint in his honey glazed eyes that the pair now possessed. "You did this to her..?"

"I-i didn't mean too!" Bella was quick to defend herself although she could help but feel so small under Carlisle murderous gaze. "I-i was just -"

"Just what?" Charlie spat towards his daughter. His anger has finally boiled to its boiling point with her. "What reason do you have to justify what you have done to Amélie!"

Tears pricked the corners of Bella's eyes, overwhelmed with everyone taking her as the enemy, as the one who was in the wrong. "I-i-"

Benedict couldn't hold it in any longer. He pulled Amélie's body closer towards his, her shaking because of the raised voices made his stomach twist. He couldn't be silent about Bella has been doing to Amélie any longer. "She was prying Amélie for answers! She had been doing so all week! Only this time it got physical."
