Amélie woke up earlier than usual that morning. So early that even Charlie wasn't awake and up yet. Confused as to why she did but didn't bother to question herself. Perhaps her body alarm woke her up early today. And so she got dressed earlier that morning yet not bothering to go down into the kitchen just yet, instead she sat at her small wooden desk writing. With an open bound book that looked to be holding on by a thread along with a pen in hand she wrote. The room had the loud echoes of the scribbling of the pen. Her hand moved fast over each line of the lined book, scribbling down anything and everything.

She was so concentrated and focused she didn't hear the ringing of her phone in the background. It was on the fifth ring before Amélie finally heard it. Dropping her pen she quickly rushed over to her bed to answer the phone as she knew her ringtone would have woken Charlie or Bella in the rooms around her. A smile made its way across her face at the name that came up with the call. My love. And so Amélie was quick to answer it.

"Matin - (Morning -)"

"Êtes-vous d'accord?! (Are you okay?!)" Benedict's voice bellowed across the phone line. Amélie eyebrows scrunched together in complete confusion of her lovers distress.

"Oui pourquoi - (Yes why -)"

"Il vous a fallu cinq sonneries avant de répondre ! Vous répondez généralement après la première! (It took you five rings to answer me! It usually only takes you one!)" Benedict pointed out. His voice still laced with much distress as well as concern. "J'étais inquiet (I was worried)"

Amélie giggled down the phone, she found it amusing how her lover was in so much misery. "Je suis vraiment désolé mon amour, j'étais distrait. (I am so very sorry my love, I was distracted.)"

"Qu'est-ce qui t'a distrait de moi? (What distracted you from me?)" Benedict was quick to question her. Amélie could practically see the pout that was most likely covering his face, along with his sad eyes that he always loved to pull on her to pretent to be angry or sad with her, it always made her feel so bad even though she did nothing wrong an he was only teasing, they always laughed afterward.

Amélie giggled. "J'étais juste en train d'écrire mon amour (I was just writing my love)"

"En écrivant? (Writing?)" Benedict asked. "Je ne savais pas que tu avais écrit (I did not know you wrote)"

"C'est juste un de mes passe-temps (It is just a hobby of mine)" Amélie spoke softly. Her feetvbegan walking her back towards her desk, making her body sit down on her desk chair, her eyes flicking over the words that graced its pages. "Une partie inintéressante de moi (An uninteresting part of me)"

"Oh Amélie," Benedict began. "Chaque partie de toi est incroyablement intéressante et belle, comme un cadeau qui ne demande qu'à être déballé. (Every part of you is so incredibly interesting and beautiful, like a present waiting to be unwrapped.)"

"Oh Bene.." Amélie whispered, her heart bursting with love.

It was now Benedict's time to imagine the smile that graced his beloveds features from through the phone. He couldn't help the smile that grew every time he spoke with his beloved and unfortunately that smile slowly began to fade as he looked out the large window that resided in his bedroom - the bedroom that slowly began to receive more colours because of Amélie's specialities. He let out a sigh, a sigh that Amélie took notice of.

"Qu'est-ce qui ne va pas mon amour? (What is wrong my love?)" Amélie asked softly into the phone.

"Je n'irai pas à l'école aujourd'hui (I will not be going to school today)" Benedict mumbled into the phone and before Amélie could ask any questions Benedict was quick to continue. "Maman et papa veulent que le soleil sorte aujourd'hui, je dois le laisser sortir derrière les nuages (Mom and Dad want the sun out today, I have to let it out from behind the clouds)"
