Amélie couldn't even try to hold in her excitement and Benedict could tell. He noticed how she had a permanent wide smile on her face that showed off her pearly white teeth and how her emerald gem eyes shined that bit brighter in the evening light. It made a soft smile spread across his face. He was happy that she was happy. He circled his thumb gently on the skin of her hand as the moment they had entered the car they had linked hands almost immediately.
It wasn't long before Amélie recognised the route they were taking. "Pourquoi m'emmenez-vous chez vous? (Why are you taking me to your home?)"
Benedict could only grin, not daring to say a word as he did not want to ruin the surprise. Although he did want to admit to her that she was his home, his happy place, his beloved he was only taking her to his house, but he refrained himself. They continued on the drive in warm silence, no need for them to speak as they have gotten so comfortable with each other, there was no need to fill the air with pointless words. Yet Benedict would cherish anything Amélie said to heart.
It wasn't long before the silver Volvo made it up the driveway of the Cullens residents. Amélie couldn't help but admire the luscious green forest that surrounded the Cullen residents yet it was the same that crowded around the Swan House and somehow its glorious green trees that stood tall and proud seemed that ever bit sturdier and safer than that of the trees around the Swan House. Even though Amélie had already seen the Cullens house it seemed to be even more beautiful than the last time she had seen it. Its windows seemed more polished, the front porch looked as though it had gotten a fresh coat of paint as of late and the surrounding of the house seemed extremely neat and clean like it had only been freshly cleaned.
Benedict made quick work of unbuckling himself and running around to the other side of the car to open the door for Amélie. He seemed to be acustom to it. He then held out his hand to which she placed hers in and Benedict helped her out of the car. Amélie couldn't help the gentle smile that came across her features as she looked at the man before her who did all these small sweet gestures for her. He was one in a million.
"Merci Bene (Thank you Bene)" She thanked and laid a small kiss to his cheek.
"De rien Amélie (You are welcome Amélie)" Benedict couldn't help but coo slightly at his beautiful beloved before him. Being so thankful after doing the bare minimum for his beloved. He would give her the world if his beloved would have asked. Laying a quick kiss to her forehead before holding out his arm for her to take - to which she did - and made his step towards the Cullens house. He held the door of the house open for her.
Amélie looked around the inside of the hallway of the house, it was done up. The only lighting was from the soft sun outside that was beginning stages of setting and a few scattered candles and a few vases of white lilly flowers decorated the house and almost all the windows in the house were open, creating a cool breeze to flow throughout the house. It was much more romantic and warm atmosphere. Benedict soon took Amélie's hand in his and took her into the direction of the kitchen. The kitchen was even more beautiful than the last time. It was decorated with the same candles that gave off a soft sweet smell and the same white lilly flowers that Amélie couldn't get enough of. Instead of the long rectangular kitchen table that the family usual play card games on, it was exchanged for a simple round white table with two chair's on either side. On top of the white table were a bottle of fancy looking orange juice, two champagne glasses with an orange slice slipped onto the rim of the glass as well as two plates of steaming hot Ratatouille.
Amélie was stood in complete awe. Slowly turning to stand chest to chest with Benedict. Benedict scratched the back of his neck out of nervousness. "Oh Benedict, tu as fait tout ça..pour moi? (Oh Benedict, you did all of this..for me?)"
