The Monday had begun as usual as it could have been. Amélie making Bella a new vegan breakfast dish for her to have with the help of Benedict - as he had arrived earlier than usual that morning, a feeling of dread had came across him in the early dawn of the day and so there he was by her side, where he wished to stay for eternity - only for her to be yelled and berated by Bella as she was disgusted by the dish she made once more. Benedict could only clench his jaw in anger as Amélie made sure he didn't lash out, her arms were practically wrapped around his waist as to keep him from gauging Bella's eyeballs out of her skull. Benedict made quick work of getting her out of the house with the disgusting being that was Isabella Swan even though said girl called after him to stay with her to which he ignored.
Benedict took extra care that day. The feeling of dread that resided in the pit of his stomach that didn't dispear the moment he stood with his beloved made him worry. He always kept his eye on his beloved, made sure she was within arms reach of him or one of his family members, he walked her to and from class as well as stealing her for the entirety of their lunch break instead of just the last twenty minutes. And even then with all of his careful and measured steps the feeling didn't disappear, it only seemed to get worse and worse as the day continued. Benedict feared the worst and no matter how many times Amélie asked what was wrong he always answered with the same whispered and anxious. "I'm fine".
The couple now stood outside the High School as the day was finally done, much to everyone's relief - bar Benedict as he could no longer be by Amélie's side. Amélie was tightly wrapped up in Benedict's arms as the two stood with the Cullen family and their cars although the two were in their own worlds of imagination.
Amélie raised her head from its buried state of Benedict's chest. She couldn't help but worry for her love. Noticing he had been much more wary and protective of her throughout the entire day, things varying from a small push of her shoulder to a small inappropriate joke, Benedict seemed to be constantly on edge and waiting patiently for the moment to blow. And as many times as she asked if he was alright he answered the same although each time his answer seemed to be laced with much more concern and anxiousness than the last.
Amélie raised her hand to skim over the indestructible skin of Benedict's cheek with her thumb. Her action seemed to catch Benedict somewhat off guard. He looked down at her, a small quirk of a lip was all she got before his lips were put back into a thin line. Amélie frowned. S'il te plait mon amour. Dis moi ce qui ne va pas. Tu m'inquiètes (Please my love. Tell me what is wrong. You are worrying me)"
Benedict gave his beloved a warm smile, full of love. He leaned down a bit further - to a human the position would be extremely uncomfortable but not for Benedict - and rested his forehead against hers. The connection of their love flowing from one to the other. "Pardonne-moi de t'inquiéter ma chérie, ce n'était pas mon intention. (Forgive me for worrying you my darling, that was not my intention.)"
"Pouvez-vous me dire ce qui ne va pas? Alors je peux t'aider. (Will you tell me what is wrong? So I can help you.)" Amélie inquired, hoping her lover would let her help in any way possible.
Benedict chuckled, the first one he had let out all day. "J'ai peur qu'il n'y ait pas grand chose à faire ma chérie, c'est juste un sentiment. (Afriad there is not much you can do my darling, it is just a feeling.)"
Amélie frowned. "Alors je ne peux pas t'aider?. (So I can not help you?.)"
"Non mon amour, je suis désolé. (No my love, I am sorry)" Benedict chuckled at his beloveds need to be helpful to him and as much as he appreciated it she truely couldn't do much. "En fait...(Actually...)"
