Bella had only waited for Amélie because she knew the way. That was the only reason the brunette could bare walking with the ginger. Even as they walked together Bella found it hard not to be disgusted by the sight of her cousin. How she had a bounce in her step as she carried the large bag from the boutique they were both in moments ago. How her eyes shone with excitement because of her purchase. How her smile captivated those around her, so much so people who recognised her greeted her with either a wave of their hand or a smile, no one dared look at Bella with the large scowl that was displayed over her face and it only seemed to get worse with every person that greeted Amélie.

Bella could hardly take it anymore, she was extremely close to ripping her hair out of frustration as well as scream curses at the top of her lungs directed specifically towards Amélie. Much to Bella's dismay the bookshop was just up ahead and Bella sped up her footsteps, she didn't realise she was jogging across the road until a large truck beeped at her for being so stupid to run across the road without looking. She merely rolled her eyes, not bothering to apologise to the driver of the truck and instead she made her pace faster to reach the bookshop before Amélie - who was gaining on ner out of fear for her cousin's safety.

When Bella walked into the bookshop the small bell rung out into the empty shop. Although there was many books in every nook and cranny of the shop with various categories to choose from she went straight over to the section she presumed the specific book that she was looking for resided. Her fingers were quick to pull random books out of the bookshelf, trying to find the book she was looking for, although not bothering to check the spine of every book she pulled out to check the books name. She kept out many mumbles and groans as she kept searching, without much luck.

It wasn't long before the bell of the shop rung out again. This time it was a perky ginger haired girl that enter the shop, much different to the annoyed brunette that entered moments ago. The karge smile didn't leave her face, instead it seemed to grow wider when she saw who was behind the bookshops checkout.

"Embry!" Amélie greeted with a chirp. "It is nice to see you again!"

Embry laughed. "Its nice to see you again Amélie, how are you?"

"I am good! How are you?" Amélie conversed with the Quileute boy. She walked over to the checkout and leaned her side on it, her feet tired after standing for so long but decided to ignore it for a little longer.

Bella's head could be seen whipping around as the two friends conversed with one another. Her eyebrows furrowed and her lips turned down into a deep frown. She quickly interrupted the conversation the two were having to ask her question to the Quileute boy. "How come you didn't greet me when I came in the door?"

"I did," Embry replied flatly. "You just ignored me and went scouring in the books."

"Get over yourself," Bella turned back to the books with a roll of her eyes as she mumbled.

Embry had to resist the urge to slap the disrespectful Swan girl. Instead of focusing on Bella he turned his attention back to Amélie, who still had the extremely large smile on her face. He couldn't help but laugh at her excitement that only seemed to keep bubbling in her. He dared to let his question slip.

"What has you so excited?"

Amélie jumped for joy with the question he had asked. She couldn't hold her excitement in any longer. "It is my prom dress!"

"Prom dress..?" Embry quirked an inquisitive brow, peaking inside the bag.

Amélie nodded with a giggle. Her excitement finally bubbling over. Their conversation seemed to flow between the two. They spoke about Amélie's prom - something she found extremely hard not to spot talking about out of pure excitement for her first prom - the spoke about how everyone down on the reservation was and Embry spoke about how there was a new group, or most commonly known as the Uley Cult down on the reservation, and how they were doing drugs and other things that made people look down on them in disgust, it was the groupmthat Paul had joined, after ditching everyone else. Amélie felt saddened at the fact that Paul was no longer talking to Jacob and Embry and he would most likely not speak to her either.
