"On s'aime comme ça, la Saine et moi~"
Amélie sang in the early hours of the morning. Stirring the pancake batter as she sang softly into the morning. And usually she would sway her hips to the song yet that morning she couldn't as they were trapped in Benedict's arms. Benedict had his arms slung around Amélie's waist with his head buried in Amélie's neck as he listened to her beautiful voice that made him feel sleepy and safe. They had both been awake for a while although they did enjoy one another's company in Amélie's bedroom, wrapped in one another's arms before they had decided to come down to the kitchen.
The two felt at peace as they stood in the kitchen in one another's company, it felt as though they had been doing it for centuries and could never tire from it. They were at peace with one another, knowing they would have each other through thick and thin, through good and bad, through life and death. They would forever and always have one another.
"You two are up early."
The couple jumped at the sound of the voice, the two in their own perfect worlds to realise someone had walked into the kitchen. Both turned only to see Charlie - who was still in his navy checkered pajamas and still rubbing the sleep out of his eyes - walking into the kitchen, letting out a loud yawn.
Benedict chuckled and nodded. "We woke up early this morning, Amélie wanted to get an early start on breakfast for you."
"You are amazing Amélie," Charlie compliment, both on his neices delicious cooking and on her caring nature of getting up so early to make it for them.
Amélie giggled. "Thank you Uncle."
It was only then did Benedict's words fully register in Chalies head. He furrowed his brows. "For me? Are you not making any for yourselves?"
Benedict could see Amélie panic at her Uncles words as she didn't know what to say to him and so Benedict decided to bend the truth he had been given by his family as so Charlie would not suspect anything, after all Charlie knew they weren't liars. "Well you see, Esme had asked Amélie over today as to comfort Bella because Edward is bringing Bella over to meet the family today and Esme thought Bella would be uncomfortable with all strange faces and Esme will also be making Italian for lunch so she wants Amélie on an empty stomach."
Charlie nodded his head along with Benedict's words. "That is fine if you want to go, I will have the house for myself."
"Thank you Uncle," Amélie thanked him along with her famous sweet smiled, something he found doing back to his niece who he loves so dearly.
It was then Charlie spoke up about what concerned him the most. "Bella has been dating Edward? Your brother? I never saw that coming."
Benedict shook his head with a frown as he pulled Amélie closer to him - by her hips - as to keep her close to his body. "Believe me, no one did, no one at all."

"Emmet! Be careful with the knife! It's sharp!"
Emmet let his booming laughter echo throughout the house, something that made the rest of the family smile at. "You are too worrisome little fox!"
"Excuse you! I have to worry when you are around!" Amélie shot back at him teasingly although she had a serious look on her face.
Emmet gasped dramatically and held his hands to his heart - the knife placed there as well. "Oh Amélie! How could you say such things? I am hurt!"
Amélie found it extremely hard not to laugh but she held it together even if it was only for a minute longer. She began to open her mouth but all that came out was a shriek of a laugh as Emmet had her in his arms and swung her around as though she weight absolutely nothing. It was now that her serious facade had disappeared and she now had her usual bright smile on her face. The family of vampire's couldn't help but laugh at the sight. There was only one thought that popped into their heads.
