It was Sunday, around midday and the rain was still pelting against the window on the small white house. The small white house that belonged to Charlie Swan and housed both him and his ungrateful daughter, Isabella as well as his beloved neice, Amélie.
Three members of the family resided in the small kitchen of the small house. Charlie, who was cleaning up his shotgun as he was going out later in the day to see if he could find anything more about Waylons death and so he was polishing his gun up nicely, in case said person decided to give themselves up, although it wasnt likely. The other two resided in one anothers arms. One a tall, long haired brunette with gorgeous liquid gold eyes, his smile was bright as he showed of his large canines. He was the new member of the household, Benedict Cullen. Benedict held his beloved in his arms tightly, her back to his front with his arms wrapped around her chest and waist, protectively, along with his head resting on her shoulder as he gazed out the window. His dearly beloved - Amélie- resided in his arms, that were only made for her. She leaned all her bodyweight on him as she sipped her tea as she enjoyed the compamy of thise her were dearest to her, as well as the sound of the battering rain that was falling murderously outside.
"Isn't it a beautiful day.." Amélie whispered into the quiet space of the kitchen. Both men looked at her, although neither disagreed with her statement, it was true after all, the rain was calming.
"It truly is my love," Benedict amswered her, as well as laying a soft kiss to her cheek, one that Amélie couldn't help but melt into.
It was unfortunate that there was a storm coming straight for Forks, many people had to close up shop early while others would refuse to leave their houses. It was rare for Forks residents to stray away from the cold but considering it was a storm, many people were sceptical and would rather stay safe than sorry. And yet there was a specific family that truly adored those storms beyond words; The Cullens. The reason being that they could play sports to their fullest, in their vampire state. And on this specific day they chose both an American favourite and classic; Baseball. Although they were beyond annoyed as the day the storm hit was the day Bella was to come over to the Cullens house once again and so Edward had insisted that Bella join them for the family day out and ignoring his family's protests he invited her anyway.
And while the family of vampire's moped and cursed at the thought of the human bloodbag being there, Bella couldn't have been more excited. Although the previous meeting was not as she would have hoped it would have gone - Amélie had ruined it - she hoped this interaction would be better. She truly couldn't wait to grow closer and closer to the family of vampire's, gaining their trust and making herself one of them. She wanted their affection, the affection they held for Amélie. She wanted it all and she wanted it now. And so this was the perfect opportunity in her mind.
But first was the difficult part of introducing Edward to Charlie. She could only hope he would adore Edward as he adored Benedict.
The once quiet and peaceful atmosphere of the trio was disturbed by that of loud and obnoxious footsteps that clattered against the floor of the house. Amélie and Benedict took no notice of the steps - after all they had learned to ignore Bella's existence quite a while ago - but then a loud 'bang rang out across the kitchen. Amélie and Benedict swung their heads around quickly - Benedict instinctively taking a protective step in front of Amélie. And yet all they saw was Bella and a can on beer on the table, in front of Charlie - who had gotten quite a fright as well.
Charlie went to open his mouth as to ask Bella what she was doing but she quickly spoke before him, happiness consuming her, so much so that she didn't even notice the couple stood watching from the other side of the kitchen, wrapped up comfortably in one another's arms.
"I got a date with Edward Cullen!"
Charlie had to do a double take after hearing the information just given to him. He looked over to Amélie who just nodded her head gently as well as hesitantly. Charlie quickly opened the can of beer and took a large swig of the light alcohol before he turned to address his daughter. "He's a little old for you, isn't he?"
