"Don't you fucking touch her!"

Benedict bellowed. His voice held enough venom to kill an elephant. It was so loud the glass windows of the pub as well as the surrounding buildings shook violently with his projection. His eyes held a burning fire that no one had ever seen in him before. It was as though he was a completely different person, his eyes were consumed in a pure darken black as his eyes blazed with a threatening glare as he near the group of men who slowly began to step away as to not face the wrath of the man who stalked towards them, a death like glare in his eyes and yet the man who gripped Amélie didn't seem to falter, although he was more than intimidated.

It was the loud echo of thunder that rang through the air that broke the eeryness of the moment.

It was then Benedict made his move on the distracted man - who looked up into the sky, confused as to where the sudden change in weather came from. He reached forward to wrap his hands on Amélie's shoulders, ripped Amélie from the mans tight grip. Once Amélie was behind him and out of view from the disgusting thing known as a man before him. Benedict was quick to let his anger control him, wrapping his hand firmly around the man's throat as well as lifting the man into the air by his throat and squeezing it until he was losing his breath and gasping and pleading.

"I should hurt you for hurting a lady like that.." Benedict paused, before giving the man an even more threatening glare than before, his lips pulled up in a sadistic grin. "But you decided to hurt my lady...and for that I should kill you."

"P-please i-i-" He stuttered out through his lack of breath as he clawed at Benedict's hand stilled wrapped firmly around the man's throat.

"You think you have the right to plead for your life? After what you did?" Benedict grit in anger, his hand squeezing tighter than before, trying not to kill the man so quickly, instead dragging out his death that bit longer as to torture him further. "You hurt my lady you will pay with your life..."

The man's eyes widened at his statement, even more concerned for his own life. "I-i'm s-s-sorry -"

"Sorry?" Benedict spat as though it was poison on his tongue, about to spread to the rest of his body. Benedict grew more furious by his pathetic excuse of an apology. His hand tightened further than before, so much so it full cut off his oxygen supply. "You think your apology would excuse your disgusting behaviour you displayed? You think it would excuse you as the disgusting man you are? Your pathetic excuse of an apology only wants me to kill you that much more."

The man opened and closed his mouth like a fish out of water, unable to say anything as he spluttered and gasped for breath as to keep himself alive. He couldn't answer Benedict but he knew the man's response would be another pitiful apology.

"Benedict.."

At the sound of his beloveds soft and quiet voice he whipped his head to look over his shoulder, only to see the sight he wished to never see again. Her shaking figure that grasped herself as to stop the shaking while tears streaming down her face. Benedict wasted no longer. He dropped the almost unconscious man to the hard pavement ground, he gasped and coughed as he tried to take in as much air as his greedy lungs would let him and yet Benedict no longer took any notice of him, instead his first and his only priority was Amélie.

Benedict quickly wrapped his arms around her in a securing way. Amélie practically fell into Benedict's arms as he held her like a delicate doll. One of his hands laid against her lower back as to pull her into his arms further as well as rub soothing circles on her back as to try and calm her while his other hand held her head to his chest. It was as though Amélie's body recognised Benedict's cool body and so her immediate reaction was to calm as she knew she was in the arms of her lover and that she was safe and no longer in harms way. Her sobs as well as tears slowly began to subside and her breathing began to slow, she slowly began to calm down as Benedict held her in his arms still, not daring to let go.
