After a double Biology class with Rosalie, Amélie now had a single History class with Mr Murphy at the other end of the building. Amélie knew she had to thank Eric profusely for giving her a tour, otherwise she would have never have found that classroom. Although she knew the way and hurried her way there she still seemed to have ended up late. She let out a few huffed breaths before entering the one of many History classrooms.
"Forgive me for being late" She spoke through a few panting breaths. Once again everyone in the class turned her way and gave her their undivided attention, making her cheeks flush slightly.
"I will let it go this once" Mr Murphy stated sternly.
"It wont happen again Sir" she spoke quietly to which the large, bald man only nodded.
"You must be our new student" Mr Murphy stated. Amélie merely nodded at the large man before her. "Well, please introduce yourself"
Amélie turned to the class and gave them a smile. "Hello, I am Amélie Archambeau, I am from Versailles, France, I am seventeen and I hope we can all be good friends"
"Very good, thank you Amélie, I want you to take the free seat next to Jasper Hale if you will" Mr Murphy directed. Amélie nodded and looked for the free seat he was talking about, once she saw it she made her way over there, being careful not to trip over anyone's school bags.
Once she had safely made it to her seat, she placed her bag on the ground before taking a seat. She then to her left to be greeted with gorgeous golden curls that adorned the head of a very handsome man, his sharp jaw and cheekbones looked as though they could cut paper, his pale skin could be compared to that of snow and his lips set in a thin line although they would look so much better turned up in a smile. Amélie sent him a small smile but he only seemed to tense and harden up even more than he already was. Amélie's smile disappeared at this and so instead she just sat there quietly as to not disturb the man next to her, as to not annoy him anymore than she probably already was. Her attention was taken away from Mr Murphy's teaching when a small note was placed on her desk. She looked over to the perpetrator only to see a slightly relaxed Jasper Hale. She squinted her eyes slightly at him in an accusatory way but none the less she opened the folded piece of paper.
Forgive me for not greeting you as you were going to sit down Ma'am, I'm not a fan of people. Amélie's brows shot up at the note before she started scribbling her answer and passing it back to the blonde man.
Jasper's eyes widen. That does not mean you take you dislike out on me Sir. Jasper seemed to physically gulp and he quickly started writing.
Amélie opened the note opened the note once it was placed on her table again. You are right, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have judged you so quickly. Could we please start over?
Amélie smiled slightly at his apology. I suppose we could. Hello Jasper Hale, I am Amélie Archambeau.
Amélie watched as Jasper's face twisted into a grin as he read over her written words before passing over the note once more. Hello Amélie Archambeau, I am Jasper Hale, how are you finding Forks so far?
That was how the rest of their History class went. They discussed many different topics over written notes passed back and forth between eachother when the teacher wasn't looking, the topics had absolutely nothing that was correlating to the topic at hand, to which they didn't much care about, instead focusing on the much more interesting conversation they held with each other. The two quite enjoyed eachothers company but they felt themselves deflate as the loud school bell rang signaling the end of their current class and the beginning of the next, but they bid themselves goodbye promising to speak again in the next class.
