It was Monday once again, a week after the horrible introductions in the Cullens house. After that day in the Cullens house everything seemed to get worse and worse. Edward began distancing himself further and further from his family, doing everything in his power to avoid them, both in school and in their home. Carlisle and Esme could hardly remember the last time he was in the house for over twenty minutes. He was relying more and more on Bella as the days passed by. He did everything to be near her, eating with her at lunch, bringing her too and from classes, following her to the school bathrooms, picking her up every morning - although never the days Charlie was in the house. He was drifting further and further towards Bella's captivating embrace, her arms held wide open with glee while her neck being on display for everyone to see. Edward was close to his breaking point, and everyone knew it.
Bella became no better in home nor school. She became snappier with everyone around her, thinking everyone would come at her beck and call and when they didn't her anger would bubble further and further to her breaking point, that was until she would remember her long-term plan, her anger would almost dissipate and instead of her large red angered face she had a bright smile on her face with her teeth on display. Although all of her anger would be directed towards Amélie. Benedict felt so afraid for Amélie's safety he had been coming over earlier in the mornings just so Bella wouldn't try anything at that hour. As well as becoming more angry and snappy as the days passed but she also became snobbish, after all she was dating one of the filthy rich Cullens. She asked for money for either clothes or food - although she was refused by everyone she asked. Bella knew she was playing the long game, but she knew in the end, it would be worth it.
She couldn't have been more wrong.

Amélie made her steps as quick as possible, speed walking along the grey pavement that seemed to travel on for hours towards the diner she had become acustom too. She couldn't help the smile that graced her features when she saw its bright colours illuminate the dark day of Forks. Amélie tilted her head up to the sky, feeling the little prickles of soft raindrops dance across her clear skin. She closed her eyes for a moment, basking in its refreshing nature. Its drops of water danced around her as if it couldn't bare itself getting the beautiful wonder wet. Although she couldn't bare the drops that began to pelt down on her face any longer as the rain got heavier. She quickly began making her way to the diner once more, moving as quickly as possible.
Once she made it inside the diner she made quick work of sheading her soaking wet coat from her body. She gently placed it on the coat hanger by the door, being careful not to shake I as to spread more water around the diner. Once she placed her coat on the rack she sent Cora - who was behind the counter talking to a regular customer of hers - a sweet smile, Cora couldn't resist but give one of her own back.
It didn't take long to find Charlie in the diner, after all he always sat as close to the diner door as possible, in case of an emergency and he had to leave immediately. Amélie gave him her famous smiles, laying a kiss to his cheek before sitting to one side of him. Charlie smiled and leaned over to give a small kiss to her temple, something she always loved. Just as Charlie was pulling away from her he noticed how some of her hair was wet, he furrowed his brows.
"Perché sei bagnato? Benedict non ti ha portato qui? (Why are you wet? Did Benedict not drive you here?)" Charlie asked.
Amélie smiled sheepishly. "Benedict si è offerto di accompagnarmi qui, ma quando stavo uscendo da scuola era asciutto, quindi ho pensato di... camminare (Benedict did offer to drive me here, but it was dry when leaving school, so I just.....walked)"
Charloe frowned at his niece. "Amélie! Dovresti saperlo meglio, potresti ammalarti! (Amélie! You should know better, you could get sick!)"
