As I walked into detention I only saw one other person. He looked real big and mean, kind of scary. He had dark brown hair that draped over his forehead and cold dark brown eyes. For some reason I had never seen him around school before.

"What are you in here for doll?" He asked as I sat down. Why'd he call me doll? Must be a player or something. "Dallas Winston! Be quite!" The teacher said. "Jesus Christ." He muttered. "That's five more minutes Winston." The teacher said angrily. The guy whose name was apparently Dallas rolled his eyes at the teacher.

God detention sucks. So boring, nothing but silence. I was picking at my hands most of the time. All I could hear in the room was the clock ticking and the other kid playing with a ring or something. Then for the rest of the time I fell asleep.

"Y/n Smith your times up." The teacher said to me. "Huh?" I tiredly muttered as I woke up. "I said your times up Smith." He said again. I looked around the room, I had completely forgot I was in detention. "Did you forget Smith?" The teacher asked. He sighed. "You're in detention." He said. I rolled my eyes. "You know what, five more minutes Smith, just for that attitude." I sighed.

The rest of the time in detention was painfully boring, every minute felt like a lifetime. The other kid was still playing with his ring, every other second I'd hear the metal tap against the desk. I groaned as I slammed my head on the desk.

"Fill out the sheet." My teacher said slamming a sheet on the other kids desk. He groaned as he placed his head against his palm, starting to fill it out. I came up from my desk as he slammed the same sheet on my desk. "Fill out the paper." He said.

"Why are you in detention?" The first question on the sheet asked. I rolled my eyes as I wrote down, "Having a conversation during class." The second question asked, "Will this happen again?" I wrote down "No." It probably would happen again but to get out of detention I had to answer no. "Alright put the paper on my desk and get outta here." The teacher said. I went up to his desk as the other kid followed. I threw the paper on his desk and headed out the door.

The other kid threw his on the desk and headed towards the door. "Don't you two cause anymore trouble! Ya hear!" The teacher yelled as we exited the room. "Can't make any promises." I mumbled. Pretty sure the other kid heard me because I heard him giggle a bit.

"Y/n is it?" He asked "Yeah." I answered "What trouble did you cause doll?" He asked. I could already tell he was smirking by the way he spoke. I didn't even have to look at him. "It's stupid really. I was just talking, damn teacher is an idiot." I heard him laugh a bit. "What did you do? You seem like trouble. Ya know punished for something real." I asked. He cackled.

"Honestly it wasn't even that bad." He said "I was just taking a smoke." "Well that seems stupid." I said. "What does?" He asked. "Just the fact that they'd throw you in detention for something as dumb as that. School sucks." I said, sighing. "Yeah no shit." He said. "Hey watch your language, the school will throw you in prison for the rest of your life." I said sarcastically and giggled. I heard him laugh at my comment.

"I shoulda known you got in trouble for something like talking during class." He stated. "What's that supposed to mean?" I asked. "You just don't seem like the type that causes trouble." He said. I rolled my eyes at him. "I can cause trouble." I said. "Sure you could." He said sarcastically. "I sure can!" I yelled. He laughed at me. I knew I sounded like a little girl but I didn't care. "Aww come on sweetie, you couldn't do nothin." He said laughing. "Ya know what? I'll prove it to you!" I yelled. "Fine, do it. I dare you." He said. He had a big, stupid smirk on his face. I wanted to wipe it right off. He's a dick, I could see him as a troublemaker. "I will." I said.

"What are you even gonna do?" He asked. He still had that stupid smirk on his face. "You'll see." I said crossing my arms. "Ok darlin' don't let me down." He said laughing. I started walking away from him. "You're a real dick ya know!" I said as I walked away. "Yeah I know!" He yelled back. I rolled my eyes. I heard him laughing as I walked down the hall.

Now I had to come up with something to prove him wrong. Great.
