Only a short time after Snake's funeral, had Griffin gained trust with Antonio, teaching the young man what he knew, trying to protect the young man as best as he could while Mr Tonio snarled at any form of mention of the two together.
Whereas Antonio and Trouble were quick to bonded, allowing themselves to become brothers behind closed doors.
Learning from Snake, Trouble still kept his personal life separate from the world that knew of him.
Mr Tonio may have hated the two young men knowing the truth, but he was fond of gaining a new man to his ranks even if Trouble still refused to pick a side to battle in.
Griffin and Mr Tonio had managed to soothe their hatred of each other for the sake of their sons, though the two older men never once spilled their past.
Griffin stepped back into the shadows; he wasn't needed now. He had paid out all of the men he had commended over when Snake was alive.
