Sleep never returned to Moon as he waited for the sun to rise. He stared up at the ceiling, patiently waiting for Glenn to wake up. Moon thought about everything that happened and what's going to happen. Moon Jr constantly came to mind, his big smile and childish giggle was enough to lift the man's lips.

Moon shifted around, wrapping an arm around Glenn as he thought of the teen. Moon Jr was so kind, the sweetest kid Moon's ever met. The man was dying to see him again, just itching to get to know his son.

But he also thought about the lineup and the Saviors. He thought about the role he would play in all of it. Moon would be a soldier, his husband's soldier. And he would play his part well. The amount of blood he has spilled would double and the guilt he felt would become nonexistent.

Moon remembered telling himself he wouldn't let the new world change him. He wouldn't let it make him someone he's not. And it didn't, not really. Who he is now and who he used to be are two different people, but not completely different.

Sometimes it was hard for him to see the difference between who he is now and who he was. He wanted to see a difference. Because if he couldn't, it meant he was never really anyone else.

Moon loosened his arm around Glenn so he could change positions. His brother constantly rolled around but somehow he always ended up back in the same position he fell asleep in. It brought Moon a great amount of peace knowing his brother still felt comfortable around him.

He looked down at Glenn, his thumb brushing over the beard growing on his brother's chin. "Still a baby." Moon muttered to himself, humming in agreement with his own words. Even if he tried, it was hard to see his brother as a grown man.

Especially when he was cuddled into him like he was still five years old and scared of the dark. Moon touched his jaw, suddenly thinking it was time he let his facial hair grow. He wanted to start looking his age.

"I'm not." Glenn grumbled back, rolling on his back to stretch. Moon rolled his eyes, pushing Glenn's stretched out arm away from his face. "Sure." Moon's sarcasm would have normally started an argument but this time Glenn felt himself smile.

He wasn't sure if he was glad Moon was acting like nothing happened or if he wanted to open the conversation again. Glenn wanted to apologize correctly, he wanted Moon to know he wasn't just apologizing out of guilt. He really didn't mean anything he said.

The smile on his face slowly melted away when he recalled more than what he said. He also recalled what his brother told him. That sick feeling returned to his stomach. Glenn watched Moon get off the bed to shuffle around in his duffel bag, looking for clothes.

Moon looked perfectly fine. He looked as if nothing happened. Glenn wondered just how many times he believed his brother's 'perfectly fine' act. How many times had he missed the signs?

"How are you?" He asked, his eyes narrow as he tried to read his brother. Moon turned to him with a raised eyebrow. "I'm good, I'd be better if you got up so we can go." Of course Moon knew what Glenn was doing.

But he said nothing about it, just continued getting ready. "Go where?" Glenn sat on the edge of the bed to put on his shoes. "Well, I was thinking me, you, and Moon could do something today?" Moon asked more than stated. Watching his brother for a reaction.

Glenn continued putting on his shoes, shrugging. "Okay." There was no way he could turn his brother down. Glenn grew nervous at the thought of meeting his nephew, properly this time. Hopefully, Moon Jr would still be open to meeting him after yesterday.

Moon smiled happily. "You two are gonna love each other." He sounded sure of himself. Glenn just nodded along, his stomach tightened and he thought he might be sick again.
