Standing shirtless in his cell, Moon applied a generous layer of Vaseline to his cuts. The stitches were now out and the cuts were healing on their own. He had his back to his mirror, looking over his shoulder to see what he was doing. "Need some help?" Rick stood in his doorway, seeing his struggle. "No, thanks." Moon shook his head, denying politely.

"Really?" Rick stepped into the room, taking the container from Moon's hand. "Well if you're gonna beg." The younger man didn't put up a fight. He turned around, stealing small glances at Rick through the mirror. He watched for any signs of disgust or discomfort but found none.

Rick carefully applied the jelly with his middle finger. "Are you ready for today?" He made conversation, sensing Moon wasn't comfortable. The tension in his back muscles gave it away. Moon nodded, "Are you?" He never brought up what happened with Tyreese's group but he thought about it.

"I'm good." Their eyes met through the mirror. Rick was quick to look away, hating the way his checks heated up over something so small. "I like how you look." Moon spoke with a small smile on his face. His eyes skimmed over the taller man's face confidently.

He was ashamed to admit how Rick's shy blushes made him feel. Just knowing the man wasn't like that with anyone else inflated his ego but in a good way. Moon wasn't cocky about it, he didn't purposefully try to embarrass or change Rick, it just happened.

Although there were times he started to miss how Rick got with him and would strive to see that sensitive side of him. "Thank you." Rick muttered, kicking himself for acting so out of character. He didn't know why Moon made him like this, so meek and soft. But maybe, just maybe, he liked it a little.

Moon smirked to himself, praying their time together could last just a few minutes longer. "I love a man with good manners." He teased, watching Rick smile to himself. "Shut up." The older man said his go to when bashful statement.

"You're just so pretty when you blush." Moon didn't bother sounding sorry. Rick couldn't help the pounding of his heart. He wasn't used to being complimented like that. It made him feel good.

"Pretty? Why not handsome?" He found the courage to ask, finishing up with Moons back. Moon turned around, making their height difference more noticeable. He was shorter than Rick, it wasn't a big difference but Moon had to look up just to meet his eyes.

"You are handsome, very handsome. But I like it when you blush for me, only for me." Moon couldn't even finish his sentence before Rick's head dropped, a shy and embarrassed smile on his face. Still, Moon continued, purposefully dropping his voice.

"Do you like blushing for me, Rick?" Even though Rick had to look down at him, he felt smaller. The almost dominant tone Moon used sent a shiver down his spine. That was new for him. He was used to being the dominant and followed one. He was a leader, he's used to being in control. But he found he liked it this way.

With a sheepish nod of his head, he whispered back. "Only for you." And he was rewarded with a bright smile, one that seemed too innocent for the conversation they were having. But Rick knew there was nothing innocent about the man in front of him. "Yeah?" Moon forgot he was shirtless, Rick sure didn't. It wasn't until he saw Rick's eyes wandering that he remembered.

Moon's waist was slim but he was still muscular. He wasn't smaller than Rick, just shorter. Rick liked how Moon was strong but he wasn't too buff. And the scars did nothing to turn him off, in fact he thought they made Moon even more attractive.

Moon didn't feel uncomfortable or insecure when Rick looked at him. Because he saw how much Rick liked what he was looking at. He tried not to grow a big head about it, he was humble like that.
