The heat inside the train cart didn't affect Moon any. He kneeled beside Glenn, taking off his belt. "Put it between the cracks like this. Step on it until you feel it break." He told his brother, having him copy what he was doing.
Glenn stepped on the belt buckle until he felt the snap. He wrapped the bell around his arm, sliding the broken buckle between his fingers. Tara kept looking at Moon, waiting to see if he recognized her. Moon didn't notice her stare, too focused on making a weapon out of anything he could.
He recognized her. But if Rick said nothing he wouldn't either. He got his pen back from Rick, Moon made sure there were no scratches. Rick had a loving smile on his face as he watched.
"Hey." Tara smiled timidly at Moon. "Tara this is my brother Moon, Moon this is Tara." Glenn introduced them, not knowing his brother had met her before. "It's nice to meet you, Tara." Moon held his fist out, a polite smile on his face. She seemed like the type who liked to fist bump instead of shake hands.
Tara's smile turned genuine, bumping her fist with his. "It's nice to meet you too, Glenn's told us so much about you." Moon hummed, a small smirk falling on his face. "He has? He was probably bragging again. I told him he shouldn't flaunt me like that."
Moon rolled his eyes, Glenn shoved him, shaking his head. "I wasn't flaunting. I was just... talking." The youngest did tell the group about his brother. Because he missed him. It wasn't his fault his talking turned into subtle bragging.
"That's the same thing." The happiness on Moon's was clear, he made no mistake of hiding it. "No, it's not. I was just warning them, you're annoying." Glenn moved away from Moon, just slightly, just to show how true his words were. Maggie shook her head at the two. "Y'all better not start again." She warned. This time, it really was not the time, the two knew that.
"Sorry." They said at the same time. "Jinx." They look at each other. Moon held his fist out and Glenn high fived it. The new people looked at the two, pausing. "You'll get used to it." Sasha told the four. Rosita nodded, going back to what she was doing.
"All right, we got four of them pricks coming our way." Daryl said as he looked through the crack of the door. They could hear people yelling at each other outside.
Rick stood up, sliding a big chunk of wood into his pocket. "You all know what to do. Go for their eyes first. Then their throats." Everyone formed their fighting stances, prepared. "Put your backs to the walls on either side of the car, now!" A man yelled from outside, everyone gave each other a nod. They glanced up, hearing footsteps on the roof. A hatch opened and something was thrown in. There was a small pause before Abraham realized what it was. "Move!" He shouted, pushing Rosita and Eugene back. A loud blast forced everyone to the ground.
Moon landed on his side, coughing as he inhaled the smoke. He hardly had time to sit up before he felt himself being dragged out, he didn't put up a fight as the smoke made him dizzy.
He groaned, feeling his body being tossed out of the cart and onto the concrete. His hands were then zip tied behind his back. A pair of boots beside his face is the last thing Moon saw before his eyes fell closed.
Two men dragged his body with the others. Moon forced his eyes open, his vision was blurry. He turned his head, looking around the room. He was dragged to a large sink thing, he wasn't sure what it was but it was metal and had a drain in the center of it.
