Narrator's Pov~

"That bitch." Gwen was laying on the living room floor of Storeys house, surrounded by Eve, Gale, and Storey.

"We literally got so close. We're living together." Gwen ran a hand over her forehead.

"You don't have to go back there. You can stay with me and Storey." Eve was almost completely moved into Storey's house.

"Really? I wouldn't want to be a burden." Gwen looked over at Storey.

"It's fine, babe. You know I'm always here if you need me." Storey gave a sweet smile.

"Thank you guys. I'll think about it."

"I'd tell you to stay with me but I'm still trying to find a place." Gale laughed.

"But seriously why would she do that? You guys have gotten so close, I genuinely thought you were dating already." Storey was sitting on the floor in front of her coffee table, drawing on some paper she found.

"I don't know. It's not like I'm her girlfriend anyways," Gwen was right, she wasn't dating Lee and she wasn't able to control anything she did but it didn't mean she didn't like her and for Lee to play with her feelings the way she was hurt.

"She's still being a bitch. But that's not anything different for Lee is it?"

"No no! It's not that. She changed she's not like that anymore. She's a great person and she's learning to be better and learning how to have her own life. I want that for her, but if she's going to have another girl around her apartment I don't know if I can stay there." She didn't want to make herself or anyone else feel like she was trying to control who Lee dated or slept with.

"Well, as Eve said, you're welcome to stay with us. I'm sure it would suck to move out again but still."

Lee got into her car and began driving back to her uncles house. Upon her arrival to the tall white house, her aunt was already standing on the front porch.

"Annalee! Where have you been? I thought you'd be home by now! I've been worried sick! Your uncle keeps saying he knows where you've been but he won't say until he can speak with you first! Come inside!" She rushed Lee into the front door where her uncle was sitting at the brown sectional in the living room.

"Annalee. You're home. Come sit over here with me, I have to talk to you." He said in a calm but stern voice and Lee complied.

"I know you'll be upset with me by saying this but i'm try to understand where I'm coming from.. I don't want you around Gwen anymore. She's a bad influence and-"

"What?" Lee cut him off. "What are you even talking about? How is she a bad influence?"

"She.. Well Annalee she's a homosexual and I know we don't speak of that here but I need to be open and honest with you. I know that you already knew that so no need to correct me. I need to let you know that I don't like the influence she's had on you. You're never home anymore, you hang out with people who don't go to church and people who smoke. You're out late at night, you hardly ever go to church anymore. Annalee, I'm saying all of this out of worry for you. For my niece. I have raised you almost your entire live and I'm only trying to steer you in the right direction." Lee just sat next to him in a short silence.

"I'm an adult. I'm allowed to live my own life. Which is why I wanted to talk to you both about something. It's very important that you know this," Lee's aunt walked over to sit with the two already on the couch.

"What is it, dear?" She asked, worried.

"Well, I don't expect either of you to take this very well but I've kept this from you both for a while now. Truth is, I moved out already. I have my own apartment in Richerdson and for the last couple days I've been moving all of my things into the apartment. Given what you just talked to me about, i'm sure you won't be happy to hear that I'm living with Gwen too. I have good friends. I'm an adult. I've already been blocked out from the world and been sheltered. I need to learn myself. From my own mistakes and from my own friends and lovers." Lee says, leaving a long, drawn out quiet.
