Chapter 26

Lee's Pov~

Gwen and I drove to school in her Jeep on Monday. She had work Sunday so I hung out with Edith again. We smoked again but not as much. I enjoyed it a lot actually. The second time it didn't make me quiet as.. horny, but it made me really energetic. Edith brought me to a cool swimming hole that was covered by trees and we smoked there and swam.

"Hey," I closed my locker and saw a smirking Gwen standing in front of me.

"Hi, baby," I smiled at her and she reached down and held my waist. "What's up?" I asked, curious of her sudden good mood.

"Nothing much, just happy to see you," She smiled and placed a peck on my lips and walked away to her next class, leaving me flustered in the middle of the hallway.

I silently walked to my class and sat down in my seat. I pulled my phone out and scrolled on instagram to keep anyone from noticing my bright red face.

"Hey, Lee," I looked up and saw Stacy. She was a girl who I shared a few classes with. She was very openly gay at school and really just anywhere she went.

"Hi Stacy!" I smiled, still trying to hide the redness on my face.

"Are you okay? Your face is a bit red." She reached a hand over and was about to hold my cheek but I beat her to it, cupping my face with my hand.

"Oh, yeah just hot," I laughed.

"Well.. I was wondering if you wanted to come to a party at my place. I'm throwing it for graduation coming up." I nodded and she smiled, sitting down beside me.

"I'll send you the address." She said, taking a pen out and writing her number on my hand.

I continue with my day, not really thinking about the odd event that happened in my 6th period until I was met by my girlfriend at my locker. She was holding a bouquet of flowers and Storey and Gale followed behind her arguing over a poster.

"Hi, Gwen!" She kissed my cheek and handed me the flowers before moving out of the way to reveal the poster with the word "PROM?" written across it in sparkly colors with little doodles all around it. Storey and Gale stood behind the large card with big grins and Storey was really bouncy.

I looked over at me and I could tell she was a bit nervous until I nodded my head with a big smile.

"Oh my god thank the lord I was so nervous," She laughed and took me into a big hug, twirling me around a bit before putting me back down and turning me to face the end of the hallway where all the guys from the football team ran down the hallway throwing paper confetti into the air.

I laughed at Storey's super excited expression and looked at Gwen who was already looking at me. I brought her into another hug before kissing her.

"It's a bit over the top, isn't it?" She chuckled.

"I love over the top." I grinned.

Gwen, me, and a few people on the football team stayed back and cleaned the mess that was made in the hallway since that was the only exception was that they had to clean up afterwards. I was a bit surprised at how supportive the football team was, given the fact that we were in a gay relationship. I always just assumed nobody in the school was supportive of anyone in the lgbt+.

"We should match. Subtly though. Are you wearing a dress or..?" I asked Gwen as I watched her make dinner.

"If you want me to wear a suit I will. I'm not too worried about what I wear." I drooled over the picture of Gwen wearing a suit.

"Yes. You're definitely wearing a suit." I said, sounding a bit too desperate which Gwen caught onto.
