Narrator's Pov~

Gwen sat in her fifth period. Class hadn't started yet and everyone was still piling into the classroom and getting to their seats as their Spanish teacher wrote something on the board.

Gwen couldn't get the encounter with Carlo out of her head. He must've gotten to Lee really bad because she had less interactions with her within the last day than she had with her at the beginning of the year.

What did she need to think about? Was she actually considering what her brother was saying?

The bell interrupted Gwen's thoughts and she was pulled back to her class.

"Gwen," She heard a whisper from behind her and remembered that Gale was in this class as well.

Gale handed a note to her and she rolled her eyes at his middle school communication tactics but she opened the folded piece of paper anyways.

I miss you :(

She chuckled to herself and flipped she piece of paper to write on the back.

I miss you too we should hang out later

There was an excited tap on her back and she turned to see Gale with two thumbs up and a big smile.

The rest of the school day came and went as fast as any other day except this day was filled with worry about Lee and what she was thinking about.

Gwen stood at her locker, putting in her last notebook when it was suddenly shut and Gale stepped in front of her, causing her to back away from the boy and give him an annoyed glare.

"I've been waiting for forever to have a day for just the two of us." He jumped excitedly but Gwen's expression didn't change. Gale stepped forward and grabbed the girl's cheeks, bringing them upwards into a forced smile.

"You better be in a good mood in five minutes. I want to have fun with you and that doesn't include you acting like Lee stuck it in the wrong hole." He said with a completely serious face, which made Gwen question the man in front of her even more.

Before Gwen could fire back at him he started skipping down the hallway to the parking lot outside.

"I have to give Lee my keys!" She shouted and he gave her a thumbs up.

Gwen walked down the hallways to find Lee, she even texted her but she wasn't answering her phone.

Did her brother's words mean that much to her?

She wondered.

I would be upset if someone in my family went off about how immoral I was being; I would want some space, but I would at least provide my girlfriend with an explanation as to why she was being ignored.

Gwen rounded a corner and walked to Lee's 7th period class. She peeked her head in to see Lee standing in front of the teacher's desk. Her teacher was holding a paper that looked like an assignment with a disappointed look across his face.

"Ah, Gwen! Can I help you with something?" He said, realizing that Gwen was stalking in the doorway. Gwen stepped inside the classroom.

"Oh, sorry Mr. Roberts. I was just looking for Lee," She stepped a bit farther into the classroom and dug in her pockets a bit before pulling out her car keys and handing them to Lee. "I'm going with Gale for a bit. He'll drop me off at the apartment so go ahead and take my car when you're ready to go home." She said before waving bye to Mr. Roberts and leaving.
