Lee's Pov~

-

I woke up the next morning with my hair a mess in my face and the spot where Gwen was supposed to be empty.

I groaned and propped myself up with my forearms before falling back into my soft pillow.

Oh, what a wonderful bed. I never want to leave this bed.

I heard a quiet chuckle behind me and looked up to see my tall girlfriend at the foot of the bed.

"Hi," She whispered as she crawled over to me. Her hair was wet so I guessed she just got out of the shower. I pulled her on top of me and wrapped my arms tightly around her.

"I don't want to go to school today. I just want to stay in bed until I die," I said in a tired voice.

"Well it's a good thing that you decided not to go thirty minutes before school lets out." I felt her smile into my neck.

"You let us skip school?" She nodded but stayed quiet.

"Do you want to get lunch?" I scoffed at her as I picked up my phone to check the time.

"Honey, it's past lunch time I think," I smiled as I played with her wet hair.

"Do you want to get dinner then?" She asked with a bit of playfulness in her voice.

"That sounds perfect. You gonna take me to a big fancy restaurant?" I joked.

"We could go to that really nice sushi place a couple blocks away." She suggested. I tried to remember the place she was talking about but it didn't ring a bell.

"I don't think I've been, but I do love sushi so that sounds really good."

Gwen lifted her head to look at me. For a moment we just sat and looked at each other before she grinned and pecked my lips.

"You're so pretty," She said through a big smile and continued kissing my face.

"I'm going to make some food for us since we haven't eaten yet." She said as she started to sit up. I just watched her as she put a pair of shorts on and smiled at me because disappearing out the door.

After a couple minutes, I decided to get up as well and follow her into the kitchen.

When I walked in there, she had waffles in the waffle iron and she was making something with strawberries on the stove.

"That smells really good," I smiled at her.

"Yes it does," She smiled back. "The waffles are almost done so we'll be able to eat in just a minute.

"What's this?" I pointed at the strawberry concoction she had.

"Strawberry syrup," She said casually. "You can put it on your waffles or dip them in it." I nodded and walked over to the fridge to get a water.

I placed a bottle next to her and opened my own.

"Thanks," I nodded. I picked my phone up off the counter and looked at the time. School let out about ten minutes ago. I smiled to myself as I put my phone back down and watched Gwen put our food on plates.

I took my plate and gave her a peck on her cheek and as I walked to a seat there was a knock on the door.

I was about to get the door when I heard Gwen yell from the kitchen, "I'll get it!"

She jogged to the front door and I heard Storey's voice, "Hello, everyone!" She walked past Gwen and sat down in the love seat.

"So, neither of you were at school. That's fine; I don't mind being left behind, but Gwen, your mother has been blowing up my phone asking me about you. It's honestly sad." Storey and I looked at Gwen and she just shrugged her shoulders.
