Dr. Anita Halestrum sat in the labs of Indian Hill working on more of her projects when she stood up and started to stretch. She walked forward to the printer as she was printing test results from her latest experiments when suddenly she collapsed. It was like her legs had given out. She blinked and found her vision to be a bit hazy so she carefully stood and took a moment to breathe. She couldn't think of what was wrong with her so she rushed to do some tests. She took samples of her own blood and ran them under a microscope. She looked at the samples and found that her blood cells were dying. She did a few calculations and found that she would only have a short time left before whatever this was killed her so she knew there was only one person who could help but if she would want to was the real question.

Sarah sat in her office on the couch that was in the office listening to Vanessa, Astris, Lyla, and Hannah Cassidy someone else who had been experimented on. She had often fallen into the place of a voice of reason for Sarah. Vanessa was often a voice of chaos and misplaced anger, though Sarah valued Vanessa's opinion like she always had, she could tell her sister's time in Indian Hill made her bitter and angry at the world so her voice wasn't always the best to listen to. Astris was a voice of caution often she was too cautious and almost afraid of the outside world and how they would see them, her uncle had filled her head with stories of how when he had done similar experiments the city of Gotham saw his creations as monsters and sought out to destroy them so Astris worried that Gotham would do it again. Lyla was often just an advisor to Sarah. Lyla Carnell had been born with the amazing gift of foresight but after her time in Indian Hill Anita had made her visions of the future stronger so she could draw more information. Sarah found Lyla's powers helpful but other than her powers Lyla had a child-like view of the world that Sarah couldn't decide was a good thing or a bad thing.

Sarah had posed the question of what we do now, Vanessa had suggested to find Anita and make her turn them back to the way they were, Astris had detested the idea because she knew that Anita was not easily swayed away from what she thought was greatness but she did agree getting turned back was a great idea. Astris said that she could turn them back with the right materials and equipment but that would cost a lot of money. Vanessa then again suggested crime as a way to pay for what they needed but Astris refused to help if they were committing crimes, she had already been incarcerated once and never wanted it to happen again. Lyla had kept her mouth shut for most of the conversation and Hannah however liked the idea of crime but knew they'd have to be smart about it. Sarah just sat there listening to them aggressively discuss what needed to be done but she could never get a word in so she stepped into what she had been using as her bedroom and sat with an old friend. "God they're all idiots!" Said Iris as she leaned against the wall. Iris and Sarah had merged into one mind so she no longer suffered from D.I.D but she still was schizophrenic and off her medication so Iris was still an often hallucination just sitting in the background listening to the life Sarah had found herself in.
"No they're not." Said Sarah as she sat down on the mattress she had been sleeping on.
"Oh come on just say it, it'll make you feel better." Said Iris as she stood in front of Sarah but Sarah just sighed and laid down putting her hands over her lower stomach.
"What do you think I should do?" Sarah asked her as Iris grinned and knelt down next to her.
"Well you know I'm all in favor of murder and mayhem but you're only asking me so that you can blame your thoughts on me." Said Iris as Sarah rolled over facing away from Iris. "Let me just say out loud what you're thinking." Said Iris as she cleared her throat. "We need to make them pay for what they've done to us! If this is what this putred city calls evolution then we'll show them just what we can do with our new found evolution." Said Iris as she grinned at Sarah and vanished as Vanessa opened the door.
"Hey are you ok?" Asked Vanessa as she came over and sat on the floor next to her.
"I don't know." Said Sarah as she stared at the ceiling.
"I guess no one really asked, what do you think we should do?" Asked Vanessa as Sarah sighed.
"I agree that you all shouldn't have to live the life I have but Astris is right it will be expensive. I agree that crime is the only option for us but we do need to be smart about it." Said Sarah as sat up. "That's why I think we should get Daniel's opinion on this matter, he is the only professional criminal that we know and would help us." Said Sarah as she looked at Vanessa who was smiling.
"I'll let everyone know." Said Vanessa as she squeezed Sarah's hand.
