"Bilkul hun," Himani said, attempting to sound furious, but her tone came out more adorably annoyed than truly angry—like a kitten trying to roar. Her cheeks puffed slightly, and her nose scrunched as she glared at him.

Sumedh raised his eyebrows, suppressing a grin. "Lekin kyu?" he asked, his voice soft with confusion but eyes twinkling in amusement at her cuteness.

She huffed loudly, dropped her books beside her with a dramatic thud, and crossed her arms tightly over her chest. "Maara kyu jab jaa rhi thi to?" she demanded, lips slightly pouted, eyes narrowing into a stern glare—but the blush rising to her cheeks gave her away.

"Gyi kyu nhi jab bola tha to?" Sumedh leaned closer, his smirk widening, clearly enjoying the little banter. His tone was teasing, playful, yet with a mock sternness that made her eyes roll.

"Kyunki mujhe koi problem nahi ho rhi thi... aur mujhe lecture sunna tha!" she replied with firm conviction, furrowing her brows deeper, her voice raising just slightly in frustration. Her hands now rested on her hips, and though she tried to hold a serious expression, her lips twitched at the corners—betraying the flicker of a smile.

"To class ke andar dhyaan kyu nhi tha?" Sumedh asked, folding his arms across his chest, eyebrows slightly raised. His tone had a hint of playful sternness, but his eyes were watching her intently—softening at the edges despite his act.

Himani's eyes widened dramatically as she pointed an accusing finger at him. "Wo... wo... aap baat mat ghumayiye!" she exclaimed, her voice rising with emotion, cheeks flushed pink from frustration.
She paused, then said more passionately, "Wo point nahi hai! Aapne class se nikala aur main class ke bahar sunne ka try kar rhi thi to kya bura hai? Aur fir jab jaa rhi thi to bhi vapas bula ke kyu maara?"
Her voice cracked slightly at the end, her expression faltering—eyes shimmering with a mix of anger, hurt, and something tender beneath, like she just wanted to be understood.

Sumedh sighed, his jaw tensing a little. "First of all, class mein dhyaan nhi tha to class ke bahar khade hone ka liye nahi, waha se jaane ka liye bola tha..." he said firmly, now uncrossing his arms.
His voice was lower, more serious. "To vo baat bhi nhi maani and then you expect ki main kuch na bolu?" He looked into her eyes, frustration flickering across his face.
"Koi aur baccha hota to jyada pitta mujhse." he added, trying to keep his cool, but clearly torn between being the teacher and being... her.

"Par kyu? Bahar se sunne mein kya problem hai?" she countered, the frown on her face deepening. Her voice was quieter now, almost as if she was pleading for some sort of validation. "Main aapko disturb thode na kar rhi thi.." she said, her brows knitting together in soft confusion, lips trembling just a little.

Sumedh held her gaze for a moment before replying, his tone blunt but not unkind. "Class ko disturb kar rhi thi."
He said it matter-of-factly, but his eyes softened the blow. He wasn't angry anymore—just... tired, maybe a little helpless. As if trying to balance being her teacher and her husband in the same breath.

"Isme meri kya galti ki wo bahar dekh rhe the to?" she asked innocently, tilting her head slightly, her brows raised in an expression of childlike confusion and lips pursed into a subtle pout. Her wide eyes locked with his, silently asking for fairness.

"Abse nahi houngi class mein distract. Vrna to aap maar maar ke jaan hi nikal doge meri," she added with a dramatic pout, rolling her eyes slightly in mock frustration, but the upward curve of her lips betrayed the affection behind her words.
She huffed and reopened her books with exaggerated effort, as if studying now was a form of protest.

Sumedh smirked, his eyes twinkling with mischief. He leaned in slightly, resting his elbows on his knees, and asked with a teasing grin, "Waise kin khayalo mein khoyi thi tum?"
