On the 9th of September 2005, an Air Kasaï Antonov An-26B, registered as 9 Quebec- Charlie Foxtrot Delta (9Q-CFD), crashed in the Republic of the Congo north of Brazzaville, the crash killed all 13 people on board.

The plane was on a domestic flight in the Democratic Republic of the Congo to Kinshasa International Airport (IATA: FIH, ICAO: FZAA), Kinshasa, from Boende Airport (IATA: BNB, ICAO: FZGN), Boende, it's a route that takes the aircraft over the neighbouring Republic of the Congo, at around 15:45pm local time, the plane crashed about 50 kilometres north of Brazzaville, all 13 people on board the plane were killed in the crash.

The cause of the crash was never released or it was never determined.
