"Hey, Madelyn. Maddy! Hey!" Mer says running up to the girl at the airport
"Oh, Hey" Madelyn says
"Uh, how was Dallas?" Mer asks
"Ugh. Bad. I can operate circles around the head of the program. I'm sick of all this schlepping. From now on, they're gonna have to come to me. How was yours? Boston, right?" Mads asks
"Uh, San Francisco. I'm supposed to leave for Boston tonight, but I think I'm gonna cancel"
"What? Only an idiot cancels the Brigham. And didn't Bailey set that up for you?"
"No" Mer lies
"Unh-unh. She's gonna kill you"
"How cute is she?" Mer says making Madelyn look up and see Derek holding Zola
Once they get close enough Derek asks "Hey, do you need a ride?" giving Madelyn a side hug
"Yes, please" she replies hugging him back
"So how'd it go?" Derek asks
Madelyn just shrugs in response as Meredith says "It was great" before taking Zola "Hi, baby girl. Oh, my love. Look who's here. Mama. She missed you"
"Uh, your idiot wife wants to cancel her interview at the Brigham" Madelyn says
"No. You don't cancel an interview with the best general surgery program in the country" Derek says
"Uh-huh. What I said"
"Why would we move? You've almost finished the house, and you have a job here" Mer says
"There are other homes and jobs in Boston. You're going. End of discussion" Derek says
"Good husband" Madelyn praises her brother
"Okay, let's go" Mer says
Madelyn takes Zola from Mer "I will ride in the back with my girl" she says giving Zola a kiss on the cheek
"I'll get the bags. Here we go" Derek says trailing after the two women

"Oh, this is getting ridiculous" Jackson says as Cristina walks into the locker room with a basket of gifts
April frowns "The N.I.H.? Since when does the N.I.H. bribe residents to come work for them?"
Cristina grins "Oh, they don't, except when you're me... a god"
Alex strolls i'm grabbing a cookie from Cristina's basket "Cookie's stale" he mumbles
"Aw, Karev. Is this hard for you, having to beg for interviews while some of us just sit back and get wooed?" Cristina teases
"No one is begging" Alex replies
April turns to him "Oh, yeah, maybe you should. Maybe that way, you'd actually get an interview"
This comment has Madelyn grinning from ear to ear
"Ha! I love mean Kepner" Cristina says
"I got an interview" Alex defends
"Oh, really, where?" Madelyn asks
