"Okay, we need to go over your birth plan" Derek says
"We never talked details"
"Hang on. I can't bully people unless I know what to bully them about" Cristina says
"Maybe you should get back into bed" Derek says to Mer
"You want to go back to bed?" Madelyn asks the blonde
"No!" Mer exclaims
"She says no" Madelyn states earning another eye roll from Derek
"Ohh!" Mer groans
"What do you need... a pillow, a bouncy ball?" Derek asks
"Ice chips" the blonde says
"She says ice chips" Cristina says to Derek
"Are you two gonna do this the whole time?" Derek asks
Madelyn groans when her pager goes off "Nope" she replies "Just Cristina. Keep me updated though" she says before heading to the ER

"All right, what is our risk of flooding here?" Jackson asks
"Oh, you got water pumps. You got sandbags.."
"The lights keep flickering" Madelyn says "Now are the generators..."
"I tested 'em last month. Listen, you guys got patients to worry about. You take care of them. This... this hospital's my patient" Frank reassures as he walks off
"These beds are filling up fast" Madelyn says
"Yeah, people think this is the safest place to sit out a storm. Half these people aren't even sick. They're just scared" Richard replies
"Yeah"
"Not used to it yet?" Madelyn overhears Callie say to April
"It just feels really weird on my finger. I keep running it into stuff" the redhead replies
"Pin it your scrub top" Callie replies showing the girl hers
"Oh, cool" April says
"Chief. Hey, uh, there's a patient in O.R. two who needs an exploratory lap immediately. The patient's already under. Do you have any general surgeons available?" Bailey asks
"You look available" Madelyn says looking the woman up and down
"I... I'm not" Bailey says before turning back to Owen "Sir"
