"Madelyn, I had no idea, or I never would have... I-I was... I wasn't trying to..." April says following Madelyn into the elevator which closes behind her
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to be, like, a hundred feet from you or something" Madelyn replies
"If I had known that you weren't trying t... I thought you were gonna take my baby, and so..." April says but is interrupted by an alarm
"Did you set that off for me, too?" Madelyn jokes as the elevator comes to a stop "Damn it" she mutters when the buttons don't work
"Madelyn you have to understand I heard you talking to Amelia about what your Mom wanted to do-"
"If you stuck around long enough you would've heard me say to Amelia that I would never do something like that to you" Madelyn says
"I'm sorry, i'm so so sorry" April says
"Yeah well, I'm sorry to" Madelyn says
"For what?" April asks curiously
"I took advantage of the fact my Mom wanted lawyers involved from the beginning, and she managed to get me the best one out there" the brunette replies
"You have a lawyer?" April asks
"Yeah, I mean you're the one who has a restraining order against me" Madelyn replies
"Wha- what do you plan on doing?" April asks nervously
"When it happens, you'll know" Madelyn answers
"Madelyn, I'm so-"
"Sorry? Yeah I know" Madelyn says
"I miss us- I miss how we used to be" April whispers
"April, I don't care. You did this to yourself" Madelyn says still trying to get the elevator to move
"I know. I know I screwed up" April says
"Multiple times" Madelyn adds
"Yeah, okay. It's my fault, everything is my fault" April says
"Great, i'm glad we can finally agree" Madelyn says
"Mads-"
"April don't" Madelyn says "Please. just don't"
Both women are interrupted by Madelyn's pager going off repeatedly "What the hell?" Madelyn mutters just as the elevator starts moving again

"I was paged. I... Oh, my God. What... What is going on? What happened?" Madelyn asks as she watches Ben run off with a baby and DeLuca performing CPR on a patient
