"Lay off the damn horn, will ya?" Alex warns Meredith as he gets in the back of the car with Madelyn

"God, carpool sucks" Meredith complains

"Hang on. Is Wilson coming?" Maggie asks

"I think so" Alex replies

"What do you mean you think so?" Madelyn asks

"I can't... look, she's all over the place. I don't even know why she let me back in the house. We barely talk, which is probably good because it's fewer chances I'll piss her off again" Alex explains

"That's pathetic" Meredith says

"What's her problem?" Alex asks

"She's in a mood" Madelyn replies

"Still?" Alex asks

Meredith uses the horn again

"I said to tell her that I needed a minute" Jo says to Alex as she climbs in

"You didn't tell me that" Alex defends

"Yes, I did. You didn't listen" Jo replies

"So done with carpool" Madelyn mutters as Meredith drives off

"Can you please just come outside" April begs

"You don't need four doctors on one patient" Madelyn replies "You know that, you just don't want to deal with Hunt and Riggs on your own"

"So you're not going to help?" April asks

"I am, i'm helping other patients in the ER" Madelyn says

"Perfect" April replies sarcastically as she walks off to join Hunt and Riggs

Not even 2 minutes later Madelyn hears an explosion coming from the ambulance bay

"What the hell was that?" she asks rushing out

"Ambulance exploded" Hunt replies

"What?" Madelyn says looking over at April "Are you okay?" she asks

"Yeah, i'm fine" the redhead replies "Let's go" she orders bringing in her patient

Before Madelyn got the chance to help she gets paged

Madelyn and Maggie both walk into the room "Finally. Uh, can you, uh, look at these?" Alex asks

"Mm-hmm. So, how old is this patient?" Madelyn asks

"15 going on 35. Standard titanium plates, right?" he asks

"Unless her parents will go for a stem-cell scaffolding in the chest" Maggie says
