"Ohh! Uhh!" April exclaims awkwardly as she bumps into Madelyn

Madelyn looks down at the redhead who has curlers in her hair "Wow, you look..."

April cuts her off "Nope! No. Don't say I look nice"

"Like a train wreck. But I can see where it's going" Madelyn says "Um, what are you doing here?" she asks

"I'm hunting bridesmaids" April replies

"Now is that a farm tradition?" Madelyn jokes

"Are you gonna be there?" April asks eagerly "All right. I totally understand if you're not. I just..."

"Do you want me to be there?" Madelyn asks

"Yes! Of course" April reassures

Madelyn nods slowly "Then I'll be there"

"Thank you. All right" April sighs a breath or relief

"Okay" Madelyn whispers

"Were you able to decompress the cord? Is he paralyzed?" Alex asks Madelyn as she performs surgery on a kid

"Uh, it's too soon to tell" She replies

"You gonna tell the dad?" Alex asks

"Tell the dad what?" Madelyn questions

"The spinal injury was likely caused by the father transporting him" Alex says

"Oh, God" Arizona whispers

"You wait for an ambulance" Madelyn says

"Well, he didn't know" Arizona replies

"Yeah, well, and now maybe his kid might not walk" Madelyn sighs

Madelyn and Jo finally made it to Aprils wedding

"Oh! "Mint to be." Cute!" Jo exclaims

Madelyn picks up one of the boxes "What is in these?" she asks

Jo smiles "Oh, we're supposed to open those..."

But Madelyn opens the box letting a butterfly loose "Oh, shit" she mutters

"...When they kiss. Nice. You just ruined Kepner's wedding" Jo says

"Whatever" Madelyn mumbles

Jo rolls her eyes "Come on" she says dragging Madelyn with her

"There is no greater example of God's power than the love we share between us. April and Matthew are here today to commit that love to each other before god and before all of you. So let's pray... Heavenly father... Watch over April and Matthew as they take the first steps on a journey that will last them the rest of their lives on earth...All obstacles. And the humility... And give them the strength to commit their love to one another...Unshakable through any storm, unbreakable in the face of any stress..."

Madelyn sighs deeply taking in her surroundings until it finally hit her

"...And you, April and Matthew's closest friends and family, are here today to bear witness to their union. Will you promise to love and support their married in all the days to come? If so, please respond "we will."

"We will" Everyone choruses besides Madelyn

We will, all of a sudden those words felt like someone had ripped out her heart and stamped on it

"...Now... I, uh... I've know the two of you... For quite some time..."

Madelyn swallows the lump in her throat before standing up, everyone turns to look at her making her mentally curse herself before awkwardly sitting back down as the ceremony continues

"...And I'm happy to be here today to be able to do this for you. I...April and Matthew, I have known the two of you for quite some time, and I'm happy to be here today..."

Nope she can't do it, she can't just sit there watching, the woman of her dreams exchange vows with someone else... this is it. This is her last chance. Do it.

Madelyn quickly stands up again,  this time keeping all her attention on the redhead "I love you, April" she says making everyone stare at her in shock "I always have. I-I love everything about you. Even the things I don't like, I love. And I want you with me. I love you, and I think... that you love me, too. Do you?"
