Chapter 21
Itsy Bitsy Spider part 1
It had only been two days since the punishment duels, Jaden and the other Slifers were sleeping when the sound of loud construction vehicles woke them up, even causing a few to fall out of bed.
"What the hell is going on?" Asked ShiiShii. They all ran out to see several construction workers and vehicles attaching something to the Slifer dorm.
"What's going on here?" Asked Chumley.
"I'm just as confused as you are", said Professor Banner. "Oh, and Jaden, Chancellor Shepard wants to see you".
"Huh, me?" Asked Jaden.
Later.
Jaden walked down the halls and entered the Chancellor's office.
"You, wanted to see me?" Asked Jaden
"Why yes I did", answered Chancellor Shepard. "It seems that we were given a new student that transferred here".
"Huh, a new student?" Asked Jaden.
"Yep, and here she is", said Chancellor Shepard moving his chair out of the way. Jaden walked forward to see a tiny Arachne. She had pale skin and a two-tone pink exo-skeleton on her spider half. She had long, pink hair tied into pigtails and had a few bangs in her hair. Her eyes were pitch black and her outfit consisted of dark-blue leather arm covers and a dark-blue, leather strapless top.

"This is Cherri", said Chancellor Shepard. "Starting today, she'll be living with you in the Slifer Dorm".
"Oh, uh, hello there" said Jaden. Cherri then scuttled behind Chancellor Shepard's chair.
"Oh, uh, she's kinda shy" said Chancellor Shepard. Jaden then rested on the Chancellor's desk.
"It's okay", said Jaden. "I'm not gonna hurt you". Cherri peeked out from behind the Chancellor's chair and scuttled onto the desk.
"Um, h-h-hello" said Cherri nervously.
"Hey there", said Jaden. "I'm gonna be your host. My name's Jaden Yuki".
"Uh, hi there, J-J-Jaden" Cherri said nervously.
"Uh, quick question Chancellor", said Jaden. "Isn't she a little bit young to be at Duel Academy?".
"That's just what I thought", answered Chancellor Shepard. "But, according to her file, she's the same age as you".
"Well then", said Jaden. "Just follow me and-". Cherri then climbed onto Jaden's back, wrapping her legs around his chest and shoulders.

"Uh, well, uh", said Jaden trying to process the situation. "Guess I'm showing you around like this".
Later on, Jaden was walking around Duel Academy while Cherri was on his back. Needless to say, this got some looks from the other students and staff.
"W-Why are they staring at us?" Asked Cherri.
"Well, you are riding on my back", answered Jaden. "And most of them have never seen an Arachne before".
"Given how very few Arachne's take part in the Interspecies exchange program", said Cherri. "Given how dangerous they can be".
"Yeah", Jaden said sadly. "One was even traded away because of something that wasn't her fault".
"Hey Jaden".
Jaden then saw Alexis standing in front of him and she was accompanied by two other Obelisk girls, one with orange hair and one with black hair.
"Oh, hi Alexis. Hi Jasmine. Hi Mindy" said Jaden.
"I was wondering where you were" said Alexis.
"The Chancellor called me to his office", said Jaden. "This is our newest student, Cherri".
"Um, hello" said Cherri nervously.
"Oh my, just look at her" squealed the Orange haired girl (Jasmine).
"She's so adorable" added the black haired girl (Mindy).
"Girls, enough", said Alexis. "Stop. You're making her uncomfortable".
"So, is she gonna be riding your back all day?" Asked Jasmine.
"I honestly don't mind", said Jaden. "After all, I got what Doppel calls 'main character powers'.........I think that's what they're called".
Jasmin and Mindy just looked ay each other.
"Doppel?" Asked Mindy.
"That girl with black eyes who walks around naked" answered Jasmine.
Later.
Jaden walked into the cafeteria, with Cherri still on his back.
"This, is the cafeteria" said Jaden.
"Big place" said Cherri.
"Yoo-hoo". Jaden then looked towards the counter to see.
"Oh, hi, Ms. Dorothy" said Jaden. He then walked up to the counter.
"Hi, Jaden", said Ms. Dorothy. "Uh, you seem to have a little passenger".
"Oh, this is Cherri", said Jaden. "She's our newest student".
"Well, aren't you just the cutest", said Ms. Dorothy. "Welcome to Duel Academy".
"Th-Thank you" said Cherri nervously.
"You're welcome", said Dorothy. "And it seems you've attracted quite a crowd".
"Huh?" Jaden asked. He then turned around to see almost every female student looking at them.
