~NOTES~
This chapter is short and chaotic, like me. Enjoy :)

Everly's POV
We're all staying at Ari's house in LA for the weekend. Carrie and I are watching a movie in the movie room but she sent me to get snacks. I'm grabbing chips and candy from the kitchen and singing.

"Dear god, Everly." Mom says walking in.

"What?" I ask.

"Vibrato should be used sparingly." Mom says.

"Says you!" I reply and she laughs.

"I'm only playing with you. Your voice is perfect, vibrato or not." Mom kisses my head.

"Well I learnt from the best." I smile.

"Aw, thanks hun." Mom smiles.

"I was talking about dad." I grin.

Dalton walks in holding Lottie.

"Uh, Everly have you checked your Instagram recently?" Dalton asks.

"Not since I posted last night. Why?" I ask.

"You might want to tap onto a few of the comments that people are leaving." Dalton suggests.

"What are you talking about?" I ask, taking out my phone.

"What did you post last night?" Mom asks.

"That photo of you, dad and me." I say opening my Instagram. "Oh, wow."

"What?" Mom asks.

"I have 3,162 comments." I say shocked.

"And let's just say that some of them are a lot less than kind." Dalton winces.

"Oh, right. I see what you mean." I mutter as I'm reading over them.

"What are they saying about you?" Mom asks.

"Uh, well it's not so much about me." I say slowly.

"What do you mean?" Mom asks.

I start to read the comments out loud.

'Everly your dad is a groomer.'

'He could be her grandad.'

'Pedophilia at its finest.'

'Your Mom was robbed of a childhood because of your dad.'

'Your poor mom.'

'Your Mom was groomed at 15. Everly watch out for twats like your dad.'

"Okay that's enough." Mom says sternly.

"What am I supposed to do about that?" I ask, looking at her.

Ariana walks in with dad, who is carrying Maisy.

"Liz, babe, she's hungry." Dad says, carefully passing Maisy to Mom.

Mom takes her and starts to feed her.

"Why is everyone looking at me?" Dad asks.

"Everly posted that picture of the three of us on her Instagram and she's received 3,162 comments about it." Mom explains.

"Nope, 3,214 now." I sigh.

"Oh. Do I need to guess what these hate comments are all about?" Dad asks.

"It's one thing to post comments like that on my own social media, but on Everly's account... I'm furious." Mom shakes her head.

"My only suggestion is to report the worst of the comments and then disable the comment section altogether." Ariana says.
