Everly's POV
I get home after my date with Aby. Carrie is in the living room playing on the Xbox with Jake, Teagal and Taylor.

"Everly's here!" Taylor squeals.

"You're back." Teagal waves.

"Hi." Jake grins.

"Hey. You having fun?" I ask.

"Yep! I'm winning." Jake points to the TV.

"Soooo, how was dinner?" Carrie smiles.

"Dinner was good." I giggle.

"I'm gonna need the details." Carrie says.

"Later. Where's everyone else?" I ask, taking off my jacket.

"Ari is in the kitchen with Lottie and Rose, Liz and Matt are out grocery shopping and Michael is upstairs putting Maisy to bed." Carrie lists.

I walk into the kitchen and Ari is singing quietly to herself and washing dishes. Lottie and Rose are in their high chairs.

"Everly!" Rose smiles.

"Hey guys." I say, picking up the toys from the floor and putting them on the high chair trays.

"Hi Ev. How was your night?" Ari asks.

"It was great." I say.

"So says the hickey on your neck." Ari smirks.

"Oh my god! What?! Aby said there wasn't a mark." I panic, checking in the mirror.

"There's definitely a mark." Ari laughs.

"Oh my god, mom is going to kill me." I groan.

"Only if she sees it. Come here." Ari says and she takes some make up out of her purse.

"How long before they get back from the store?" I ask as she covers the mark for me.

"Hmm, maybe ten minutes." Ari guesses.

"Would she be mad if she saw?" I ask.

"She'd be a hypocrite to be angry, to be honest with you. That's not for me to tell you about though." Ari says.

"She's always said she doesn't mind as long as I'm being safe." I say.

"And are you?" Ari checks.

"Of course." I nod.

"Then there's no issue." Ari smiles. "All done."

"Thanks." I smile as she kisses my cheek and then packs away the make up.

The front door opens and mom and Matt walk in with shopping bags.

"I told you that I hate Walmart." Mom sighs.

"You can be such a diva." Matt laughs.

"And I'm totally okay with that. I'm not okay with shopping in Walmart." Mom rambles.

"You're back. Enjoy the late night grocery shopping trip?" Dad asks walking in and kissing mom.

"We had loads of fun. Although your wife is even fussier over groceries than I thought." Matt jokes.

"You're telling me." Dad chuckles. "I'll just get the others from the living room." Dad says and walks out.

"Hey everyone. Hi baby. How was your date?" Mom asks hugging me.

"It was really good." I smile.

"Nice to see that you at least tried covering that hickey." Mom laughs.

"W-whaaaat? No I didn't. There's nothing there." I lie.

"Concealer and bronzer? That's Ari's hack." Mom chuckles.
