Everly's POV
It's Saturday morning and for once everyone is free. We're all sat having breakfast together.

"Honey, don't throw your food." Mom told Maisy.

"Mama!" Maisy smiled, throwing a strawberry at mom.

"Good listening." Mom said sarcastically.

"Woah, Teagal! That is a lot of syrup for one pancake." Dad said.

"Scrape some of it off, please." Mom told him while she tried to take some of the syrup off the pancake.

"I won't eat it if you do that." Teagal frowned.

"Can I have more syrup too?" Jake asked.

"No, buddy. It's not good for you." Dad said.

"But look how much syrup Everly has!" Jake whined, pointing to my plate.

"It's really not that much." I lied.

"Do you kids not care about keeping your hearts beating?" Mom asked.

"Don't be so dramatic. It's a very healthy lifestyle." Carrie shrugged.

"She says while drinking her third coffee." Matt pointed out.

"Liz, can you pass me a yogurt?" Ari asked.

"Ew no." Mom said.

"I'm not asking you to eat it! Jeez." Ari shook her head.

"Jeez." Taylor repeated giggling.

"More please." Rose reached for Ari's bacon.

"That's vegan bacon, baby. You won't like it." Ari laughed.

"Mommy." Lottie grabbed Ari's hair.

"Yes, I know you're here. I'm getting you a yogurt." She kissed Lottie's hair. "But meanie Lizzy doesn't want to be helpful."

"There you go." Matt passed the yogurt cup to her.

"Thanks. What was it you wanted to talk to us all about, girls?" Ari asked.

"We have an idea we want to tell you." Carrie said.

"How come we've never been camping?" I asked.

"Because I like to lie on an actual bed and have warm showers and eat without bugs everywhere." Mom said.

"I've been camping as a teenager, Ev. It's a lot of fun." Dad smiled.

"Can me and Everly go?" Carrie asked.

"By yourselves? No chance." Dad shook his head.

"But dad-" I started.

"We will go with you." Matt smiled.

"Great idea Matt. We can go too." Dad decided.

"We'll all go." Matt said.

"Yay!" Jake squealed.

"Family camping trip!" Teagal grinned.

"Family what now?" Mom asked.

"Let's go camping, babe! We can explore the wilderness! It'll be so fun." Dad smiled.

"Fun?" Mom raised her eyebrows.

"Such good bonding experiences. You're my wife and you should do this for me. For our family." Dad nodded.

"Ugh, you can't pull that one on me." Mom groaned.

"I'm starting to rethink this..." Carrie whispered to me and I nodded.
